"Super clean, very friendly manager, great location and highly recommend."

"Everything we would expect from a hotel of this type. Clean, helpful staff, excellent dinner and breakfast, good beer, easy to park, windows that opened to let in freash air. Just great. Kedgeree for breakfast a particular delight. One slightly wobbly tap, that was it"

"Owl Barn was just beautiful - we loved the fact that the sheep wandered past the garden fence and the horses came close to be petted ! The view from the window was amazing and the Barn had everything we could possibly need - we would definitely recommend it and would be very happy to go back again "

"Wonderful, welcoming hosts with excellent breakfast. Quiet location surrounded by beautiful countryside."

"Great location very clean Jackie and her sister where great hosts very friendly and helpful would definitely recommend "

"Amazing place, highly recommend it."

"It is a big apartment. Everything is there. Specially the kitchen with an oven. Perfect bed. Only the neighbourhood is a bit poor. But a small supermarket just round the corner. Breakfast included is basic."

"Such a beautiful, beautiful place in a lovely setting. Such attention to detail, the furnishings, the gardens and sitting areas not to mention the wonderful breakfast that was served. Our host could not have been more helpful or pleasant. We hated that we could only stay one night. Hopefully we can return one day !"

"Very comfortable bed, nice big window, decent sized room with good facilities. The owner was very happy to help with fresh milk delivered and good suggestions for local food places."

"Fantastisk afslappende sted"

"Staff incredibly helpful from Manager to the cleaner- great breakfast"

"Smukt sted og virkelig fine lejligheder med køkken. Masser af aktivitetsmuligheder, som fitness, pool, golf, minigolf og tennis. Lækker morgenmad."

"Really nice hotel, definitely worth a stay on a roadtrip. It has the nicest and most helpful staff you'll find and such great spaces to relax. Only reason that we don't give it 5 stars is that the shower was a tricky one."

"Ligger skønt i Dartmoor. Vi havde et fint værelse. Kun koldt vand til bad. 😵‍💫 blev byttet ud med super værelse. Opgraderet. Fornemt. Lækker morgenmad. Vi nød opholdet. 🌞"

"The Blue Lion is ideally situated for a stop over when making a long journey to Cornwall. The room was well equipped and comfortable. There is some traffic noise from the road, but that did not spoil our one night stay. The staff were welcoming and the locals were friendly. The evening meal was excellent. I would stay here again if travelling in this area."
