"Everything was very good, but the electricity generater made so much noice during the night, it was very frustrating. But everything else was very pleasant, clean and nice. The placement of the hotel was perfect too! I loved the little kitchen and the huge bed. Would definitely go again."

"The rooms were very clean, stylish and spacious. The AC worked well, and there was a ceiling fan also. The kitchenette on the roof was great in the morning for having a cup of tea (not supplied) and storing leftovers and drinks in the community refrigerator. The security guy was friendly, we communicated through google translate. Loved this place and highly recommend (def a great value for the location, where hotels on the beach side are $300+ per night). My only recommendation would be to have...

"This is an apartment not a hotel. The room is tastefully decorated and has a decent bathroom. The building entrance is on an unpaved alley that is not well lit in the evening. There were mouse or rat droppings outside the door, though no evidence of them in the room. It is located on a busy highway, with large trucks that can cause the windows to rattle. This is about 15 minute walk from where the nice restaurants in Tulum are located and about a 30 minute bike ride to the beach area."

"Utæt tag, hul i gulvet, utæt vandhane, problemer med at få varmt badevand, ustabil elektricitet, lille "dobbeltseng", myggenet revnet, morgenmad elendig, uengageret personale. Charmerende sted med god beliggenhed få hundrede meter fra privat strand. Stedet har stort potentiale, men lider kraftigt under dårlig management!"
