Ikke pengene værd
Det var et meget dyrt ophold, som på nogle måder levet op til prisen. Dårlig service, maden var super dyr. Værelset var et helt almindeligt værelse med det dårligste internet, det var ikke muligt at få god forbindelse på noget tidspunkt. Vi har ikke på andre hoteller på vores rejse rundt i Israel og Jordan oplevet så dårligt internet. Det er ikke et hotel som jeg på nogle måder vil anbefale til andre. Der var over 20 km til stranden, hvis du ville bade i Det Døde Hav, det fremgår ikke af deres hjemmeside. En rigtig kedelig og dyr oplevelse.

Godt, dyrt og manglende venlighed.
Godt og hyggeligt sted i skønne omgivelser og flot udsigt mange steder fra. Skøn pool. Fantastisk morgenmads og aftensmads buffet. Køb det! Betjeningen ved receptionen var under middel. Faktisk dårlig.

A lovely stay in beautiful surroundings!!
My husband and I stayed at the Ein Gedi Hotel for two nights, in one of the superior rooms with garden view (room 201). The room was not much to look at from the outside, but very nice and pretty inside, with a wonderful little terrasse and view of the mountains. The bed and pillows were comfortable, and the decor modern and well-maintained. The staff consisted of mainly young people, overlooked by more experienced professionals - everyone was extremely friendly and welcoming. We had chosen halfboard = breakfast and dinner in the buffet restaurant. The selection and quality of food was good, but the room a bit noisy due to the tiled floors and high ceiling. We visited the beach on day two - the hotel provides a shuttle between the kibbutz and the “Sea of Spa” beach, which can also be reached by car. Access and shuttle is included in the stay. Swimming in the Dead Sea is a must, but the Sea of Spa does not quite live up to expectations - it is crowded and not particularly clean. At the site, you change into your bathing suit and jump the next shuttle taking you to the water’s edge (3-400 meter). The beach itself was fairly clean in the early morning, with plastic chairs and shaded areas. It is not a place for sunbathing or staying long, as it is mainly meant for trying the water. We went on the first shuttle of the day and back to the hotel two hours later - this was more than enough and everything was still fairly clean. Go early, and don’t forget to wear bathing-shoes, as

An oasis near the Dead Sea
A green oasis in the middle of the desert. Short distance to bathing by shuttle bus to the Dead Sea. Large and very nice swimming pool. It is necessary to choose half board as there are no other dining options nearby. Good service at reception.

Alt alt for dyrt i forholdet til standard - boligerne lignede noget fra midt-firserne, men virkede og var praktisk. Havde prisen været det halve, havde standarden passet. Det skal siges at morgenmaden, der var med i prisen var god og turen til Dødehavet med gratis shuttlebus var unik. Aftensmaden var en buffet, der var alsidig, men også for dyr. Enten skal Ein Gedi skrue op for kvalitet eller ned for pris.

Fantastisk hotel ved det Døde Hav
Et fantastisk hotel i et fantastisk område af Israel. Efter en tur på Masada og det Døde Hav, er det dejligt at komme tilbage til et godt hotelværelse med alt hvad der behøves. Haven, spa, svømmebassin er vældig fint. En tur op i naturen bagved hotellet er ligeledes en tur værd.

LUKSUS
Vi havde en overnatning i forbindelse med et besøg ved det døde hav. Det var super lækkert. Der kørte en gratis bus fra hotellet til det døde hav og den hentede os igen. Værelset var fantastisk nyt og det havde en udsigt fra altanen over naturreservatet. Det var sindsygt flot og det var en speciel følelse at sidde på sin altan og kigger ud over dette landskab. Der var lige lavet et nyt SPA, som var gratis for gæsterne. Det var direkte luksus. Omgivelserne var nye og der var ikke sparet på detaljerne. Maden var rigtig lækker og der var et kæmpe udvalg. Jeg vil helt klart ikke tøve med at besøge stedet igen. Det kan helt klart anbefales :)

Our stay at the Ein Gedi hotel was aamzing! The property is beautiful, and you have lots of beautiful hikes nearby. The pool and spa amenities were also fantastic, I would definitely visit this hotel again. I would note, the buffet options are some what limited, but the food was good for the most part.

Paradisiaque…
Endroit paradisiaque, vous dormez dans un jardin botanique. Le personnel est aux petits soins, la piscine géniale et le spa aussi. Seule critique : la climatisation qui fait un vacarme terrible et qui est orienté pile sur le lit et ses occupants. Du coup, il faut dormir sans clim, impossible lorsqu’il fait 43°, ou sous la couette. C’est un tel paradis, que le problème clim est secondaire. Le petit déjeuner est génial, le dîner non, si je veux être critique. Dans tous les cas, cela ne peut altérer la note maximale que mérite cette oasis en pleîne mer morte. Bravo !

Hôtel Kibbutz
Hôtel Kibbutz a Ein Gedi tres bien nôtre chambres tres simple mais spacieuse Belle piscine avec vues sur les montagnes et sur la mer morte. Le Spa, vraiment Top Un grand moment de détente. Il y a juste un bémol le restaurant qui propose le buffet pas terrible préférable de manger au snack a côte du lobby.

Nice, but wouldn't stay again.
Staff at reception was great, and breakfast was amazing. But overall I felt like there weren't a ton of amenities for the price. Pool closes at 6 even though the sun was up till after 8:00, and although they made announcements in hebrew, I did not understand them and was abruptly told to get out. I realize it was probably a language barrier, but still. The pool allows smoking unfortunately, so trying to enjoy the beautiful grounds was hard while smelling cigarette smoke, listening to loud club music guests were playing on their personal speakers, and stepping over trash littered all over the pool are. Not what I expect from a hotel at this price point. There is also zero help with arranging transportation to nearby attractions if you don't have your own vehicle.

The hotel is attractive and professional. It is managed by the kibbutz, and we enjoyed having breakfast with them. The grounds are a botanical garden, which is remarkable given the harsh desert that surrounds the Ein Gedi oasis. Comfortable rooms.

Very mixed experience ... at a hefty price
Overall, nice location with beautiful tropical garden carefully designed over the years. The maintenance of the accomodation and level of comfort is however quite poor. More so taking the hefty price charged.

Personal war nicht freundlich und nicht hilfsbereit. Wir mussten 1,5 Stunden warten um einzuchecken, weil man unsere Buchung anscheinend nicht finden konnten. Wir mussten dann selbstständig mit Ebookers schauen, obwohl wir eine Bestätigung hatten.

Zeer slechte prijs-kwaliteit verhouding Personeel is niet klantgericht, ik maak melding dat de WiFi niet werkt en krijg als antwoord van de receptionist “bij mij wel”, daarmee was het probleem volgens hem opgelost… Voor de prijs van 217 euro is het zwembad niet inbegrepen en dient men nogmaals 15 euro per persoon bij te betalen. Kamers zijn ook heel basic. De standaard kamer is een ingerichte container, totaal niet gezellig. Zeer teleurgesteld. Niet aan te raden!

Beautiful setting and surrounding. Breakfast could be better with more fresh fruit. No reason hotel pool can not be open for some hours in the winter in this climate.

The property was unusual in the plantings, amazing rare trees and just to our liking, small and pristine. Good location to explore the area including Messada.

I loved this place and would stay there again! The room fit 4 of us but it was def tight with all our stuff. The views, the location, the food was fantastic! Not a fancy place so those seeking luxury and nicer amenities look elsewhere but if you’re looking for ambience and character Ein Gedi hotel is great!

Nous descendons souvent dans cet hôtel. Le site est toujours aussi beau mais le service est moins bon: propreté générale, personnel de ménage, personnel en général, certains équipements tels que mini golf qui est dans un état catastrophique. Les restaurants sont très agréables.

Interesting place near the Dead Sea
Excellent food. Room was OK. Having laundry available was a plus. Exterior of property is run down.
