The furniture and accommodations were terrific - my mom could not make it up the stairs, but she was delighted with how comfortable the couch was!This place is a fabulous getaway, and we could not have been happier."

"Great location, near Manchester and Dorset, just off Rt 7A. Instructions for check in were spot on, but we didn't receive the initial email, it had to be resent. Probably the coldest weekend of the winter, with temps close to 0F. Oil heat/forced air, but it wasn't able to do a good job on the primary bedroom (downstairs). Other than that, unit was well furnished, with a Keurig coffee maker, full complement of cooking gear.Would definitely return in the future."

"The stay at the barn was fantastic. Very warm and cozy . For those who think staying in a restored barn was drafty , not at all , it's very well insulated and it was 31 degrees outside. The fire place was awesome with plenty of wood. Dave and Loretta were very accommodating and easily assessable . It's beautifully decorated with some antiques which we enjoyed . Highly recommend . "The nearly 200-year old Carley Farmhouse nestled amidst the Vermont hills is a real keeper! The natural beauty of the area is stunning, and nature lovers will appreciate the bird chatter, occasional monarch butterfly, starry skies, complete with fireflies in the yard! Gather chairs around the firepit in the yard at night and enjoy it all.
