"Madama was my first hostel experience and it was great! Beds were comfortable and the location was great, about a 5 minute walk to the metro which can get you anywhere in Milan quickly. Area is safe and always people around, but quiet. Madama’s bistrot is very lively, so if you prefer a more quiet hostel this is not for you. You can hear the kitchen working from the room but it’s usually quiet by midnight and starts up around 8 in noise. I did not mind this since I was out and about most of the...

"I had an excellent stay at this hostel! It is located perfectly in Milan - just 10 minutes walk from the Duomo and close to almost every attraction. The staff was extremely helpful. This was my first time in a hostel, and I really appreciated that they showed me around when I checked in and informed me a bit about the hostel. There are great activities every night, and they are great if you want to socialize with the other people at the hostel."

"Stayed here for two nights in Milan. The dorm was spacious and beds quite comfortable. Bathroom was decent, two showers but they had no space to hang clothes/place shampoo etc.? Very inconvenient. There was AC which was a big plus during the summer. No breakfast included which was a con. There are many great places close by, though. It is placed in a quiet and nice neighborhood within walking distance to the metro - approx. 15 min. "

"Eneste gode ved hostelet er at rengøringen var god. Resten var meget skuffende. Vi blev en dag forsinket, da vores fly blev udsat til dagen efter. Jeg selv og hotel.com forsøgte og ringe til jer uden I besvarede telefonen. Da vi kom frem kl. 10 kunne vi ikke få vores værelse, da der først var indtjekning fra kl. 14. Hvorfor I ikke allerede have gjort vores værelse klar dagen før forstår jeg ikke. Jeg have bestilt et værelse til 4 personer og eget badeværelse. Vi fik dog et 6 mands værelse dog...

"I originally booked one person per room instead of two by mistake, but the receptionist was incredibly kind and accommodating. He quickly sorted it out for me and only charged an extra 40 euros for all three nights, including breakfast – which I really appreciated! The cleaning staff were also very friendly and helpful. The bed was quite large and comfortable. Next time, I might ask for an extra pillow, but that’s a minor thing. Overall, a great stay!"
