"This was a perfect getaway weekend! The lodge is in a remote area, which is so quiet. We enjoyed kayaking, going for a boat ride with the owner, Gary, and just walking around the village.Peggy stayed in touch with me throughout the time before our visit as well as during the visit even though she was not able to be there for the weekend. Debbie was our hostess and she was wonderful! The lodge is so unique and comfortable."

"Pictures and description were accurate. Owner very nice, but procedures could have been more forthcoming. Beds, pillows and towels were excellent. Window AC was below average in sweltering heat and not the best. Nice seating and tables, just small. When there was an issue, owner was on top of it. "We absolutely loved this apartment in Capitol Hill! Eric was very responsive and helpful any time we had questions and the free parking made our visit so much easier! We loved the historic home and the modern updates were well-done. We had 2 adults and 2 teens and we were comfortable with the space and the small kitchen fit our needs perfectly for our stay.
