"Brilliant location, just a 1-minute walk from Kyoto Station, which made getting around (and arriving with luggage) a breeze. The staff were extremely friendly and informative, and always happy to help. The room was big by Japanese standards, ideal for our family of 4, including two teenage boys. The shower had great pressure, and the deep bath was a lovely way to unwind after long days of sightseeing. The facilities were a highlight. There's a laundry on the ground floor, costing about $4 AUD...

"The accommodation was good, very clean and corresponded to the pictures. The beds and aircon were great. Communications with the host was good and check in smooth. Locking the door however could be a little tricky. Also, it was a little strange walking in and the first thing that greets you is an open storage area. The sofa downstairs had lots of old stains which was a bit off putting. The stairs to the first are quite steep and the toilet on the first floor is very small. The main issue for us...
