For more days on the sand, head to popular Rhossili Beach (less than 2 miles) for golden sands ideal for walking, picnicking and surfing. Water sports enthusiasts can spend a day at the village of Port Eynon (3.5 miles) where another sandy beach offers swimming, sailing and surfing. Keen historians can uncover Port Eynon’s famous Salt House, or head inland to visit the historic King Arthur’s Stone Dolmen (5.5 miles).
This is a delightful home, stylishly designed with a spacious open-plan layout and thoughtful attention to detail. Step into an open-plan kitchen, lounge and dining area where your eyes will be drawn to the delightful dog-themed decor and artwork. The space has a contemporary and welcoming feel, benefiting from high ceilings and large windows that afford plenty of natural light. On your left is a kitchen area with all the appliances you need to prepare tasty treats, and on the right is a dining table set by the window. The lounge space is perfect for relaxing after days of outdoor adventure – sink into the sofa, fire up the Smart TV and flick on the wood-burner-effect electric fire for cosy movie nights together. When it’s time to call it a night, retire to the unique bedroom which boasts a restful double bed with a mezzanine-level double bed set above it – accessed via a wooden ladder. Serving the bedroom and completing the interior is a well-appointed en-suite shower room with a rainfall shower.
Outside, an enclosed patio offers a safe and sun-soaked space for little ones and dogs to play. Gather at the outdoor furniture for morning coffees and evening tipples together, and fire up the BBQ for al fresco meals under the stars. Guests will also benefit from private parking for one car.
