Stay at the Stay in Suttons Bay

First off, great communication with the host the whole week - feel like she was there if we needed anything, but we didn't because the place was perfect! The house was super clean and everyone's room was wonderful. The beds were comfy, the couches were comfy, the chairs were, you guessed it, comfy! Plus, low key, the soap in everyone's spot was next level - the comfort is in the details! Also, location, location, location! The beach is a short walk away, all of the Suttons Bay shops and restaurants were just a small stroll down, too. Suttons Bays is a special place to my family and we were disappointed when the place we normally rent was no longer available. We were thrilled that our new place was just as great as the former. We already booked again for next year!

From high school friends to retirement

4 high school friends, 45 years later… what an amazing large cottage just minutes from Sutton’s Bay restaurants, shopping and the beach. We had such a great time catching up, wine tasting and eating great food. Kristen was everything you want a host to be, she was prompt in responding to questions and checked in daily to make sure everything was perfect. We would all go to her place again without question. It has everything you need already there, the beds were really comfortable and it was spotless! Thanks Kristen for a great girls getaway!

Wedding weekend

My daughter had a destination wedding in Traverse City and this property in Suttons Bay was nearby to the venue and events so it was perfect! Very beautiful neighborhood and walking distance to shops and restaurants in Suttons Bay, too. The home was comfortable and well maintained throughout! An excellent choice for anyone in the area!

Perfect Suttons Bay location

This house is exactly as described. Very charming, very comfortable, clean, and in a perfect location for walking to anything downtown Suttons Bay. Kristen is super easy to check in with, answered any questions quickly, and provided all the information we needed! Love the house, perfect space for a girls trip, couples or families! Plenty of room, great patio space. Hope to go back again!

Perfect week

We stayed as a family of four plus one extended family member. Easily could have had more stay very comfortably. The house is stocked better than any I’ve shared in- host has thought of everything! She touched base daily and was responsive to all questions. We are already looking forward to staying here again!

Cozy, well-stocked house

This house is stocked with everything a family could need. A wagon, sand toys, childrens’ life jackets, beach towels, beach chairs, backpack cooler, etc. All things I didn’t have to pack! Being one block from the beach and downtown shops, food, and ice cream is convenient. There is also a full court basketball court and pickleball court nearby.

Location Location! Amazing Host!

3 Adults and 4 kids (ages 6-10) stayed for 3 nights in July. The location of the house is awesome allowing us to walk into town easily and get to all the sites within a short drive. The house is updated and had room for all of us. Host was super helpful and proactive. She gave us so many suggestions of things to see and do, especially with the kids. We had an amazing time!

Summer Visit to Suttons Bay

Our recent week-long visit to Suttons Bay was fantastic! The home’s location was perfect, offering easy access to local attractions and restaurants (Slabtown, VI Grill, Apache Trout Grill, Hop Lot…) It was also ideal for launching our boat onto Lake Leelanau, making our days on the water incredibly convenient and enjoyable. The house itself was modern, very clean, and equipped with all the amenities we needed (including WiFi and a smart TV). The kitchen was well equipped, allowing us to prepare and enjoy meals together. The size was perfect for our group of 5, providing plenty of space for everyone to spread-out a bit and relax comfortably. Our granddaughter loved the easy access to the public beach, spending hours playing in the sand and water. Kristen, our host, was very welcoming and communicative, ensuring that our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. We will definitely return next year! We recommend this home for anyone looking to experience the best of Sutton's Bay.

Excellent property

Very nice house at a great location. We had 4 couples staying and each bedroom having a queen bed perfectly suited us. Great customer service - the owner contacted us a couple of times to ensure we had everything we needed.

Beautiful stay in the heart of wine country!

The house is absolutely spectacular with the best location! We had 4 couples in the home, and we were all very comfortable during our stay! We loved walking in to town and the proximity to all things wine and Suttons Bay was phenomenal! Kristen is a fantastic host and a great communicator! Family Vacation

Perfect House! Perfect Location!

This beautiful home was spotlessly clean and spacious, had luxurious bedding and comfortable beds, and the kitchen had everything! Really I could go on and on about the house and our gracious owner Kristen. Our group was my husband and I, our daughter and son in law, and our two grandsons ages 15 and 8. The location is great for exploring the Leelanau Peninsula. We visited Northport, Leland, Glen Arbor, and of course spent time in Suttons Bay! We are a family of rock hounds and found a ton of Petoskey stones. We all agreed it was the best vacation ever!

Absolute Perfection stay July 7-8
