"We had a wonderful stay at Le Refuge. The location was great for visiting the region and the accommodations exceeded our expectations. Everything you would need was thought of, from basic food supplies like spices and oils, to soaps, shampoos, and conditioner. There are board games and books if you need some entertainment, but we were kept busy touring the area, so we didn’t have an opportunity to use them. We would definitely choose this cottage if we visit the area again."

"The location was convenient for us to visit other family members by car. I would not recommend it if you are travelling without a car. Groceries and other needs were a short drive away in the very cute town of Magog. Our beds were very comfortable and the place was roomy enough for us and our 2 adult sons. It was vey clean had had a pleasant farmhouse décor. Perfect for our stay! Thank you!"

"We had a great stay at the the Grilled Chamalow. The property was easy to find, clean and exactly as described. We had the equipment needed to cook and keep up with the home. Plenty of room for family time and privacy. The many windows in the living room created a relaxing location to read or put a puzzle together. Town was very limited with groceries so plan ahead. Owners communicated well and were responsive. We had a great time for the three days we stayed. "

"It’s a nice place to stay in group. Everything’s fine, contact is easy with host. Easy to find and close to Bromont and activities on the lake. The only thing is the smell of the water. Please take care of it, otherwise everything is okay."

"The property was quiet, private, beautiful view of the lake, clean, homey, and the welcoming and helpful hostess lived next door. Just a few minutes drive to Knowlton and a number of scenic and interesting nearby towns no more than hour away. Many great restaurants in the area."

Just one dishwasher tab was there, and there was no remote for the basement tv. But overall a fantastic place. We would book it again."

"Une belle semaine de relâche à la maison de Knowlton. Magnifique maison, bien rénovée et adaptée pour un groupe avec des ados et des adultes. À moins de 20 minutes des montagnes et 35 min de Jay Peak. Magnifique cuisine pour de bonnes bouffes. Cuisinière au gaz un peu difficile à utiliser et départ un peu trop tôt. Chambres confortables et bien isolées. On recommande !"

"We were looking for a place to stay in the Knowlton area while attending a wedding. My husband and I were staying for1 week while our adult children were joining us for the weekend. Although we now live in Ontario we grew up in the Eastern Townships. I lived in Bolton Center and then Waterloo for the first 20 years of my life and went to Knowlton Academy Grades 1-4. "We love coming home to the house after our day activities. The house was clean and very comfortable. The latex pillows were a pleasant surprise and a very nice touch to our experience. If I could say anything that would make it even better, the provision of wood, a little welcome snack pack and an information booklet. We arrived at 6pm by that time most of the shops were closed, we had to drive around to find basics like bread and butter etc. but the house was perfect."
