"A cute little cottage that was clean and convenient. It was a little over a half an hour drive to Acadia, and about ten minutes into downtown Ellsworth. My kids appreciated having their own bed. The host was quick to reply to messages, and check in/out was very easy. It isn’t a luxury cottage, but it was clean and the beds were comfortable. The photos are very accurate. The bathroom had plenty of towels, a good hairdryer, and a 3-1 body wash. Bring your own shampoo, or it was cheap to purchase...

In addition to having laundry pods stocked, they also had dishwasher pods, and all the necessary cookware if we chose to cook. "This is a beautiful well kwpt home! It was very clean, and well equipped with everything we needed! Easy to communicate! The view of the water and Down East coastline was especially spectacular from the upstairs bedroom. The property is private and safe! We loved our stay!!! Highly recommend this property!!!! "Except for the miscommunication about check-in (which, I think is more the fault of VRBO and not our host), the stay was perfect! Just far enough out of Bar Harbor to enjoy feeling like we were out in the countryside, but close enough to both Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park to enjoy both destinations to the fullest! Erin was extremely helpful and quickly responded with kindness and hospitality to every question. Would definitely book again."

"This was our first trip to Maine and we had a great time staying here at this charming cottage. The host was very responsive and all amenities were as advertised. The location is great, being nestled along the back part of the bay where we could watch the fisherman work and wake up to deer and bird songs every morning. We even got to see a baby fox and porcupine in the neighborhood. Travel to nearby Acadia and Schoodic is not far. Our top pick for places to visit would be Quoody Head State Park...
