"There with a friend for a concert - we wanted someplace with easy access to the L Train. This was definitely it! We were on the 2nd floor with a window right next to the tracks and could barely hear the train go by. Didn't hear any of our neighbors, and the staff was always helpful and friendly! "

"In the heart of downtown but affordable. Quaint as it’s an older (maybe 50s) hotel and small but perfectly clean and well kept. Very recently redone and so lovely. We felt very safe and very comfortable. Loud as your on street level but we just aren’t used to downtown city life.
Will stay there again if we visit chicago"

"Hotellet ligger godt i gå afstand til det hele i downtown. Servicen er god og personalet meget imødekommende !

Sengene er gode men lidt korte. Der er ingen varme på badeværelset, så der er piv koldt om vinteren."

"Bad check in, the cards I just used for lunch and gas , was not accepted, my bank told me they need to upgrade the machine for Mastercard, we agreed the could take cash, I went to the atm behind me, here the cards worked, now they said they can’t take cash…. A other customer offered they could use his credit card.
When you enter they told me in the bar , that you will have a 25 dollar voucher pr day, they did not give me this before I asked for it..
My friend had access to the membership lounge,...

"Rigtig god placering og hyggeligt gammelt hotel. Venligt personale. Fint lille fitnessrum.
Men det var næsten umuligt at få sit værelse gjort rent, lykkedes to gange på syv overnatninger, svært at få fyldt kaffe mm op. Morgenmaden var ikke særligt inspirerende, fint med frisk frugt, men ingen ost og friskt brød, kun hvide toastbrød, savnede havregryn/grød, surmælksprodukter og kogte æg, flere dage heller ingen cereals. "Had an awesome black friday week stay at this extremely well located hotel with old fashion cosy Chicago style. Pool at top floor was a big plus too! All staff were great but shout out to sweet n cute Vania:) who made my departure a little less painful haha.. I'll be cack soon! "
"Very, very nice hotel in the midst of everything. Nice rooms which delivers as promised. Especially the concierge delivered service beyond belief (sadly I don't remember his name).
The service by the hostess in the rooftop bar were horrendous - never experienced anyone looking so sad for being at work.
Sadly my experience were ruined a bit after coming home, as I felt overcharged by the final bill. I've been trying to get in touch with the hotel since, but have heard no response what so ever.
I cannot give a lower rating than I did, as the hotel overall was amazing, but this situation stops me from wanting to visit or recommend Pendry, regretfully.
