We had to check in twice because we were snowed in, and both times the process took an unreasonably long time—about 40 minutes on Friday and 45 minutes on Sunday. There was only one person working the front desk each time. When we asked about the delay and requested to speak with a manager, we were told the person helping us was the manager. Instead of addressing our concerns professionally, she was dismissive and even threatened to take away our room key and refuse check-in, which was completely inappropriate.
The biggest issue was the condition of our room. One of the chairs had actual feces smeared on it—visibly and with a very strong smell. It was impossible to miss. When we brought this to the front desk, they dismissed the concern and offered no real solution or apology. This is a serious sanitary and health issue that should never happen in any hotel.
On top of that, the elevators to the parking lot were not working, adding more inconvenience to an already stressful stay.
I’m sharing this so the hotel understands how unacceptable these issues were, especially the lack of cleanliness and the way concerns were handled. These are basic standards that need to be addressed immediately.
