"Everything was perfect, from the quaintness of the cabin to the communication with the host! It was exactly as described, and we came prepared! The only thing that didn’t go as planned was the hot plate, we couldn’t get our water to boil for some mac&cheese, but we had a backup! Our puppies loved paddling around in the water, and the scenery was to die for!"

"There is a delapatated, abandoned house on this property that is intentionally left out of photos. There is a narrow, unlevel path from the driveway down to the lakefront site that makes you cross over an ustable "bridge" made of house siding, and some uneven cinderblocks as "steps". You must traverse this to unolad gear and any time you access the honey bucket. The honey bucket is not cleaned before you arrive, but theres a cleaning fee for each day you stay. There are horsetail weeds...

"Stayed in mid-September for Tunnel Race Marathon which was coinvent for the finish area. Even though rooms are on lower (basement) level, it was warm and fan was not enough with European type bedding. Previous reviews had mentioned no air-conditioning. We were able to get an extra sheet instead of the duvet on the second night. Communication was good once established."

"I would equate this property to like a cute pair of shoes that you simply must have but wearing them for any length of time is not all that comfortable. The house is clean, updated, and provides most necessary things for your stay. It is on the small side so I can't imagine more than two people staying there. "Terrific accommodations for the price. Great amenities. 4of 5 as: I wish there was blackout drapes in bedrooms. Too bright too early. "We stayed 4 nights over new years and really enjoyed the hotel. Room was a good size, windows could open which I like and bed was very comfortable. There was also a bathtub. Note that they only do cleaning/make up your room every second day unless you want it done every day. Friendly staff and good restaurant for breakfast and dinner. Area was quiet, but close to everything. Can recommend and will stay there again. "
