"We were there to visit a family member at Foothills Hospital. It was the perfect location because it was a 10 minute drive to the hospital but walking distance to morning coffee and dinner. Exactly what we needed. "

"We were visiting Banff for the Melissa's Road Race, this accommodation was an easy walk to the start line and also into town. It is attached to a beautiful home and it very private as the garage is between the suite and the main house. Everything was really clean and lovely and included everything we needed as a home base for exploring the mountains. We will be back!"

"When I checked in , I used the toilet which came off its attachment. I notified the manager about it and he asked if I wanted to cancel , I should have taken him up on that. There was no towel rack, unfinished baseboards and an electrical cover that was missing making it unsafe according to housing standards. To make matters worse the manager billed me for damage that I had not done This is a basement unit that needs some work I dont recommend staying here!"

"This place was a more affordable (but still not exactly a bargain!) place to stay right in Banff! You checkin at a fancier hotel down the street and they give you your keys and then you drive over to The Dorthy Motel. It had 2 nice sized beds, a microwave, a small fridge (no freezer area), coffee pot/coffee and a tea kettle. The bathroom had lots of counter space and the shower was great! Only one small window in the room which was good for us so that it was nice and dark for sleeping. My only...

"Other than the kitchen oven missing the bottom tray barrier between the oven space and the lower storage drawer our stay was wonderful. We stayed in the same unit last year and noted that this oven problem was present last year."

"We went to a hockey tournament in Calgary at Winsport. We were only 8 min away! The home was very clean, it had everything that we needed. The queen bed has a sag in it but the other beds were great. (Teenage boys did not care about the sag and slept well) The kitchen had everything that we needed. Even a spring form cake pan that we made cinnamon rolls in! There is a BBQ. It worked but was difficult to start. The snow removal was done quickly as it snowed quite a bit while we were there....

"We had a nice, large room with a small, but fully equiped kitchen which was really good! The location was fine - about 30 min walk to downtown. The shuttle also stops right outside the hotel every 30-60 min - the hotel provides a complimentary bus pass, and the shuttle takes you right downtown in 5 min. The bus pass also works for the shuttle to the gondola, the hot springs and Minnewanka lake."
