"We loved the historic feel of the building right off the bat. The art deco vibe was very cool. Our room was huge as was the bathroom area. The bed was SO comfortable with lovely sheets. We both slept great! The location is 3 blocks from Millenium Park and close to the train and bus. The bartenders Renee and Ben were friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back!"
"Got a suite and from early morning to late evening an outside generator makes a deep and annoying humming sound. The reception could not do anything to prevent the noise, so I just had to accept it.
The room was spacious, but especially the carpet appeared worn. The bathroom in contrast appeared modern and clean.
My impression of the cleaning is that they did a great job.

"Great location, easy to get by with public transportation, and many things to see within walking distance. The hostel personnel were great. The common facilities were great too, but the carpets and furniture in the room were a bit worn down, and not very clean. There was a very good, and free breakfast. It was a bit noisy because of the trains, but got used to it in the end. I didn't feel a party-travellers feeling at the hotel, it was very quiet, and almost not-approachable guests actually. But...

"Nice and clean, and staff was great! Only issue we had was that when we checked in, we were told that if you extended your check out till 12, it was complimentary. Even the night before we asked just in case and they told us to call around 8-9 to extend it and we would be fine. We drove in and were having car issues so we called early the morning of check out and asked for it to be extended while we figured it out. Though when we called, they said they weren’t doing late check-outs that day....
