"The place was perfect for a week in the Adirondacks with the family. Kayaks, well stocked updated kitchen, plenty of room to sleep 6, and two levels of deck. Great interface with the outdoors but the WiFi worked great to occupy kids during down time. Most of all, the owner John was super accommodating. One of the air conditioners in a bedroom stopped working and a new one was installed in about 2 hours! Five stars not enough. "

"This is a very nice property with more positives than negatives.I'll put the negatives first: No curtains on windows other than in the bedrooms/bathroom. This one seems kind of odd, but there is no way to cover the windows in the kitchen, dining room, or living room (which faces the lake). This combined with slightly close neighbors means that the lights they leave on or conversations can be seen and heard. I could not get the side door to lock. "A cozy cabin in the woods, only a brief walk away from the lake, and a comfortable fit for our family of 5. Very well stocked kitchen - we were able to cook all our meals easily. We especially enjoyed the screened-in porch and the swimming area and kayaks that were available for guest use. Ice cream/trading post for food/supplies and a boat rental all just up the road if you want to take advantage of the lake.
