"The Inn was a refreshing change from the usual hotel room in the usual hotel, and I'm glad i stayed there for two nights. First, the good. Ten rooms. A bar downstairs. The room was spotless, and the bath appeared to have been rwcently rehabbed. Everything worked well. The rooms are on the second and third floors, reachable either by stairs or a two person lift. "I think the hotel is either new or newly run as they seem to be finding their feet. Check-in was 3pm to 4pm and when I called to say I might be around 6:30, I was told "it's only hour and a half from Manchester" and "there might not be anyone here after 5pm". It felt a bit abrupt in all honesty but when I arrived around 5:30 (Friday school holiday traffic), they were pleasant enough. Breakfast starts at 10:30 to 11:30 which is very late and checkout is 10am. Weird timings, hence my theory they...

"Tired and in need of care and refurbishment. Parking limited and not easy access. Room showing signs of damp in bathroom. Entry door damaged and needed repair to gain access. Plus side hot water supply very good. Staff friendly and helpful. Disappointed after good cooked breakfast at the weekend Monday morning continental breakfast, which consisted of dry, stale mini croissants and pain au chocolat, no chese or cold meats(available at the weekend) and hot drinks machine not working. "

"Gorgeous hotel, I will definitely stay again. My children and I enjoyed being here. The bar/lounge is great as is the impressive reception. Really good food and service from staff. Our room was a little bit dated but did not faze us. As the beds were super comfy and we had a bath and shower which was good. Overall had a great experience."
