Close to the cliff lift to the spa, and we found the area nice for walking around Scarborough.
The public transport links are close by , you can easily leave the car parked and enjoy a driving free break.

"Emma contacted me unprompted to see what time I would be arriving, which was a nice courtesy. Enjoyed a nice slice of homemade cake with my tea upon arrival. Nice touch! My single room was ideal for a solo overnight stay. Comfortable and warm. Excellent breakfast included plenty of tempting options, all served in the spacious breakfast room. I would highly recommend Waves."

"I enjoyed every day of my stay here. The staff customer service skills were fantastic. My room was the perfect size for me.You have to walk down to the basement for breakfast. No lifts inside the property which didn't bother me. I was on the top floor. Mansion House is only a 30 minutes walk to Oliver's Mount "

"This hotel is only a 10 minute walk from the train station. There is a restaurant in the hotel which you can book once you have checked in . Communication from all the staff was outstanding during my stay. There is a lift inside the hotel. They also do bar meals. This hotel is a 40 minute walk to Oliver's Mount. I would stop here again "

The hotel has a great location and is as you'd expect a Victorian seaside hotel to be, a little dated but that's part of the charm. The hotel boasts commanding views over the bay and close to the castle.
We had 2 rooms booked, both were spacious, clean and seemed to have new furniture.
