"After having missed our stop on the train in Castellamare di Stabia and getting off in the next town down the line, our host was kind enough to drive 7 to 8 kilometers away to pick us up there and bring us to his lovely property, which was very appreciated after a long day of travel to get there. "We had a great 2 week stay at Villa Duchessa d'Amalfi. First, our host Gaetano was amazing. He arranged boat trips, wine tours, cooking classes and cars for us. And was generally very helpful and super responsive on Whatsapp if anything came up. The place itself was beautiful. The terrace overlooking the ocean was huge and well appointed. We tended to spend mornings and evenings out on the terrace enjoying coffee or a light meal. The pictures are accurate but can't really do the terrace...

"We enjoyed this stay for all the reasons portrayed in the property photos. They accurately show the large rooms and wonderful coastal/mountain views. Uwe and Silvia were easy and a joy to communicate with.For dining, we most strongly recommend La Macina, a nearby family restaurant.
