It looks to be outside of Skaneateles and technically that is true, but it is 5 minute drive next to the lake with beautiful homes, etc. The building itself is beautiful, old but with a lovely aesthetic. "The room that I checked into had pluming issues with the bathtub. After I brought it to the attention of the staff on duty, she went above and beyond to relocate me and my daughter into another room. The entire front desk receptionist staff were very nice and helpful. I would definitely recommend this Holiday Inn to friends and family members. "

One items of concern was the bathroom shower floor didnt have the safety trips on the tub floor making it very slippery I put a towel on floor as to not slip and fall BUT EVERYTHING WAS GREAT OTHERWISE"

Another suggestion is to include non-egg version of items in the breakfast to cater to vegan and people with allergy sensitive. Overall, definitely recommended to stay.
