"Don’t let the location fool you. It looks to be outside of Skaneateles and technically that is true, but it is 5 minute drive next to the lake with beautiful homes, etc. The building itself is beautiful, old but with a lovely aesthetic. It feels homey, but one that an interior designer designed. From board games to an ice machine at the ready while in front of the fire…it was delightful. As was sitting on front porch with my coffee in a rocking chair. We will definitely return. Staff was...

"We had a wonderful stay here! A perfect size stay for 3 friends getting away for a day at the spa and a day shopping and eating around town. The sidewalk picks up right before the accommodation so it's a really nice walk to the center of town! Easy check-in and had everything we needed. "

"34 State is simply a gorgeous 18th century (?) home furnished and decorated with impeccable period style! Tasteful and elegant guest suites, great linens, wonderful help-yourself amenities in a thoughtfully stocked pantry. All of this steps away from the storybook lakefront village of Skaneateles. Just a delight for a weary traveler!"

Tasteful and elegant guest suites, great linens, wonderful help-yourself amenities in a thoughtfully stocked pantry. All of this steps away from the storybook lakefront village of Skaneateles. "The cleanest motel I’ve ever been in! Although this is a very modest propriety that hasn’t been updated, it is well maintained and well attended to. Very affordable and well located. Support small businesses and independent properties!"

"rooms were competitively inexpensive to other hotels in the area(on trivago) very clean rooms and all items needed were in the room coffee, microwave etc
One items of concern was the bathroom shower floor didnt have the safety trips on the tub floor making it very slippery I put a towel on floor as to not slip and fall BUT EVERYTHING WAS GREAT OTHERWISE"

I get it. Its the Finger Lakes. Rich folk. Wine Country. ALL the rooms are expensive. The price of the room for what you get? Not awesome. "Helt fantastisk område, lækkert hotel og skøn stemning. Utrolig god mad på hotellet. Både morgenmad og til aften. Sublimt sted. Tag evt op til den lokale by, som er lille men hyggelig og helt eminent Pizza. Masser af steder med god vin. Desværre skal man køre til alle stederne…"
