"The hotel is located 15 mins between Myoko and Madarao either way. Excellent location for checking out multiple resorts and scenic view of the lake. Breakfast was consistently good and the set dinner was surprisingly good too. Gotta hand it over to Chris and Maggie who made the stay so memorable. They go out of their way to help you with whatever your trip needs—from pick ups/drop offs, restaurant bookings, and tons of recommendations. My group of 6 had a blast"

"This is such a great place to ski/snowboard. The hotel is great and has a lot of space, theirs a lot to do in the hotel also besides being outside in the snow. The onsen and massage is great also and add the breakfast and dinner to your stay, you won’t regret it! It’s very peaceful and relaxing and we enjoy coming here. Can’t wait to come back!"

The entertainment room, where many guests want to spend some relaxing time after a long day skiing was however closed from 17-22 when people want to enjoy it. We had dinner once at the resort and it was really good,

"Nice and kind staff. Easy going. Clean. Nice breakfast. I am vegetarian and I was a bit limited but made do. A lot of fish/meat dishes. Skiing: easy free shuttles from the hotel and back. They have cheaper lift tickets for sale at the hotel. Had a nice home cooked meal nearby. The only issue is most of the laundry machines were out of service and the one available took 4 hours and the clothes were still damp. So I would only hope that they fix the laundry. "

"I had a traditional Japanese room. It was super comfortable - and the view from my window of Happo One was beautiful! It was convenient walk to restaurants and bars. The Happo One gondola was a bit of a hike - but definitely within easy walking distance is the Hakuba Happo bus station. Easy to get to other mountains via the shuttle."

"Great cozy little inn. Stayed here for a week and would stay here again. Beds were comfy, bathroom was big enough. Very close to the bus terminal, Happo One resort and a few restaurants and bars. The onsen was very handy after long days on the slopes too. Make sure you have google translate if you need to ask the staff anything."
