"This was our favourite accommodation throughout Japan. The room was huge with a separate toilet and powder room to the bathroom. Japanese PJ's were provided which was a nice touch, also a hair straightener and curler and Nespresso coffee pods. The staff were amazing, so polite and helpful and always smiling. The breakfast was an experience in itself - opt for the Japanese style breakfast- it was delicious. The location was perfect, only a 5 min walk to the Keihan subway line and walking distance...

"The room was not as clean as expected of Japanese standards. It is, however, very comfortable, being spacious and well provided with everything travellers need. The shower is also sufficiently hot and strong. Breakfast provided offered a great variety of food, in particular special local food with clear descriptions to give foreign visitors a taste of Kyoto food. This arrangement is really thoughtful. "We used the hotel for several days stay in Kyoto. The hotel is located very practically for transport near Kyoto station, but a but south of downtown. So great if you are using the train but not as practical if nightlife is your priority."

"Very clean space with many delicious and friendly restaurants nearby. There is a 7/11 across the street and it is a 30 minute walk to Nushiki market for a day of shopping. There are also kind and welcoming staff to guide guests and offer ideas for things to do. "

"This place is VERY clean, pleasant and convenient. Near Kyoto station but not so close that you notice when you’re at or outside the hotel. Beds were comfortable. Staff were nice. Laundry room was helpful but expensive - but worth it for the convenience. I thought I wouldn’t get a machine as there are only 3 but I did (on a rainy Sunday midday).
