Welcome to the charming beach cottage at 1155 Summerwind, a guest favorite with its expansive, private porch that overlooks the serene fairway of the acclaimed Ocean Winds Golf Course. Whether its morning coffee, an afternoon rest after the beach, dining al fresco, or a cocktail under the stars, the porch is a favorite spot.

Inside the cottage, an open floor plan leads to a dining and living area with hardwood floors and high, shiplap ceilings. The living area offers a cozy sectional couch, additional seating and a large screen TV over the fireplace. The kitchen is well stocked with stainless appliances, Keurig coffee maker, standard coffee maker, ample cookware and serveware, and a table with four chairs. The dining table in the main living area seats 6. Sliding doors off the living room and master bedroom lead to a large screen porch and deck that stretches across the back of the cottage and overlooks the golf course. A grill sits on the outside deck.

The spacious master suite decorated in a bright, beachy palette of colors, features a king bed with en suite bath. A 32" HDTV, dresser, chair, closet, ceiling fan, and blackout curtains - making sleeping in a breeze. The ensuite bathroom features a generous size granite vanity and tub/shower combo.

The second bedroom is off the living area across. With a plush queen bed, dresser, closet, and ceiling fan, this room offers abundant light. It also has a sliding door with access to the back deck and blackout curtains. The third bedroom features a full bed and a twin bed, dresser, closet, ceiling fan, and blinds. In the hallway between the second and third bedroom is the second full bath featuring a skylight, granite vanity and tub/shower combo.

The washer and dryer are located in the kitchen area for the convenience of guests.

A carport below the cottage offers space to park your vehicles and LSV golf cart. Situated just half a mile from the Seabrook Island Beach Club, Island House, Golf Courses, and Pelican Beach, this cottage offers a central yet secluded location.
Amenity cards included. A $50 savings per day.

CLUB AMENITIES: Amenity Cards included. Access to Beach Club (open seasonally), golf, tennis. Lakehouse outdoor pool accessible too.
POOL: access to the two Seabrook Island Beach Club pools with the amenity card. Outdoor pool at the Seabrook Island Lake House are also included.
PARKING: This property allows for a maximum of 3 vehicle gate passes. LSV vehicles (low speed golf carts) are unfortunately prohibited at the villa complex.
CHILDREN: Children welcome.
LONG-TERM RENTALS: This property is open to winter monthly rentals and long-term rentals. Please contact us for discounted monthly rental rates.
PET POLICY: Well behaved dogs welcome. Fees applies.
LSV GOLF CARTS: LSC golf carts allowed. LSVs must have a pass and count as a vehicle (towards the 3 vehicle max).

LINENS, TOWELS, & STARTER-KIT OF SUPPLIES: Included in this rental, for the convenience of our guests, are comfortable, white linens and a selection of bath and hand towels, as well as washcloths. A starter set of hand soaps, bath soaps, shampoo, toilet tissue, paper towels, laundry detergent, dish detergent, dish soap, a kitchen sponge, and kitchen towels are included. Guests staying for an extended stay may need to purchase or bring additional supplies. Beach towels are not included (although towel service is available at the Beach Club.)

WASHER & DRYER: A washer and dryer are located in the unit for your convenience. Should you require wash n fold service, please let us know. Coffee Maker: Single Serve & Carafe Coffee Maker on site.

AMENITY CARDS: Amenity cards offer exclusive access to the Seabrook Island beach club, dining club, tennis and award-winning golf. Without this card, access is prohibited. Amenity Cards are INCLUDED with this rental (a $50 day savings). Guests also have complimentary access to the uncrowded and private beaches, equestrian center, and the outdoor Lakehouse pool. The fitness center is accessible for a daily fee of $16 per guest. Whether you are fishing, crabbing, biking, kayaking, or shopping, there is something for everyone. Beginning January 1, 2025, pre-order forms will be mandatory for all guests wishing to use the outdoor Lakehouse pool. Please ensure that your completed form is submitted to the amenity office at least two weeks prior to your arrival to avoid a $10 late fee. Due to the volume of requests and the card preparation process, the office is now unable to accept information over the phone.

ISLAND ACCESS & PARKING: As the island is a gated, private island, each vehicle entering the island will require a gate pass for island access. Seabrook Island Property Association (SIPOA) has now started charging a gate pass fee per vehicle. This property has a limit of 3 vehicle passes. There is parking in the carport area and in an adjacent off street space. Parking on the pinestraw or street is prohibited. The $45 fee per vehicle applies to guests staying 1 night – 179 nights. Our rental agency is responsible for collecting the fee. Gate pass name information for each car is due two weeks prior to your arrival. For each pass, a driver's name must be provided. Drivers may be required to show a valid Driver's license when at the gate. Once a vehicle has a gate pass, any licensed driver can drive that vehicle.

CHECK IN: For our guest's convenience, we offer a prompt, self check-in process. Guests will directly check-in at the property with a code for the keypad on the door. We, however, are always a phone call or text away. We offer as much assistance with check-in process as needed. Our office is available to answer questions

CLEANING: Our housekeeping teams are among the most detailed anywhere. Cleanliness is a hallmark of every stay. Our housekeeping teams are trained to use the best hygiene practices at all times. With the combination of these best detailed practices, our employees, clients, and guests should be safe from the spread of germs. We are one of the only companies that washes the bedcoverings (comforters, bedspreads, quilts) after every single stay.

THE AREA: Guests will find that the area offers so much to do. With vast, uncrowded beaches, an array of recreational offerings, and the historic city of Charleston just 21 miles away, an adventure awaits you daily.

IN THE EVENT OF A STORM: If a Mandatory Evacuation Order for Seabrook Island is given during the dates of your stay, The Owner/Host or the Property Management Company shall refund 100% of all deposits, payments and / or monies paid by the traveler. Owner/Host or Property Management Company shall have no further liability with respect to the Reservation. Please note that if there is inclement weather in the other 49 states, prohibiting the traveler (or guests in traveler's group) from getting to Charleston, a refund will not be issued and, Owner/Host or Property Management Company shall have no liability with respect to the Reservation. During months where there is a potential for inclement weather, such as hurricane season, we strongly suggest travelers obtain insurance.

POLICY ON SMOKING: No smoking please. Violators will be fined for in-home smoke damages.

CANCELLATION POLICY: Free cancellations up to 30 days before your stay.

PARTIES: THIS IS an ideal property for making memories but this is NOT A PARTY PROPERTY!!
