Alpehytter i Scottish Highlands

"Lovely location, nice cosy space for our family of three. Good kitchen facilities and ideal for our mini adventure in Drumnadrochit. Decor is a wee bit tired in the bedrooms and bathroom but the kitchen is fantastic with the fridge, freezer and induction hob. I was extra prepared and had brought my own tea and coffee but the host had very kindly provided these as well as coffee pods and even had ice in the freezer for us - caramel wafers were very much appreciated! "Many thoughtful amenities. Sleeps an intimate two, not three as promised on both Expedia and another booking site. Host ignored Expedia message request for use of (non-existent) sofa bed and instead sent a direct email with door code. Daughter and I enjoyed this last minute booking but felt a bit bait and switched. Exceptionally clean,well appointed suburban backyard unit."

"L'endroit est très bien situé, beaucoup de restaurants au alentours, par contre , contrairement à l'annonce, il n'y a aucun Wi-Fi de fourni, vous devez donc débourser pour avoir du Wi-Fi. La communication avec l'hôte n'était pas toujours facile."

"De accommodatie was heel fijn en zeer rustig gelegen in het bos. Voor sfeer en gezelligheid is het een 10 op 10. Het was een prettig verblijf voor 2 nachten en uitstekend gelegen ten opzichte van Ballatar en omgeving."

"We had a fabulous weekend at the cabin. Everything you needed and the fire made it so cosy! Some of the kitchen utensils and crockery were dirty. It is confusing having the cabin named but it is labelled as a number."

"The place was very small but overall very nice. The jacuzzi tub was excellent after a long day of hiking and was big enough for 2.The only negative was the folding stairs. They look cool, but once they are opened, the stair treads are not very deep (about 8") and the stairs are quite steep. Going down in the middle of the night to use the bathroom required a lot of care.The cabin itself doesn't have Wi-Fi, but the lodge was open 24 hours and has Wi-Fi available to guests. There's also no TV....

"We had an amazing stay! The area is gorgeous, saw more stars than I've seen in decades. Drive or walk down to the harbor to do the fairy Glen walk and explore the beautiful nature and history just down the road. A great spot from which to explore the coast! Unique, private and beautiful lodging to boot."
