"Wonderful sunrise views from this mountaintop setting. Very quiet and peaceful; just far enough from town to feel like you're in the country, but close enough to run in town for a meal. Comfortable bedding with memory foam matresses. Great stay!"

"Wonderful cabin! Only thing needed was an outdoor area to keep trash so wildlife couldn’t get into it. Only thing to change is the toilet paper, it’s rough. We had to buy Charmin. Beautiful cabin, amazing views, great surprise to have board games. We will be back!"

The host was very responsive and included some nice touches with extra amenities waiting for us upon our arrival. We absolutely recommended The Nest!"

My wife thought it was a little creepy that there was no blinds in the main bathroom.you should seriously do something with the road. We had a truck and we had to had to use 4wheel drive."

"We recently celebrated a friend’s birthday in the Highlands, and this home could not have been more perfect! Plenty of beautifully decorated bedrooms, spacious and comfortable living room, and adequately stocked kitchen. The views from the deck were wonderful, the neighborhood was quiet, and the best part was that we could walk everywhere within minutes. We parked our cars and didn’t need them all weekend. "The area and unit were clean and peaceful. The hillside view of the lake was a beautiful backdrop to every room. We enjoyed big comfy sofas inside and pleasant walks down to and around the lake. It was in a great location for getting to all the things we needed to see and do on this quick trip, from Lake Glenville to Lake Toxaway."

"We’ve stayed at many different Vrbo properties over the years and this is one has to be one of our all time favorites. We loved the location and took advantage of the resort amenities access. This house, as other reviews have commented, is just so homey and comfortable, and has just about everything one would need, including lots of condiments in the kitchen and Keurig pods. We would love to stay here again for sure, when we come back to the area. We found the beds to be very comfy as well...
