Wonderful relaxing stay
While checking in was a bit challenging due to the deadbolt door lock, we had a wonderful stay at a beautiful place and would definitely return.

The door must have swelled with the change in seasons. I asked my house cleaners to not lock the deadbolt. Glad to hear you enjoyed the property.

A Delightful Oceanview Retreat on West Cliff Drive
We recently had the pleasure of staying at Liz’s oceanview house on West Cliff Drive in Santa Cruz for a girls' birthday weekend celebration, and it was truly a memorable experience. From the moment we stepped inside, we were impressed by the charm and comfort of the house. The interior was tastefully decorated, creating a cozy and welcoming atmosphere that instantly made us feel at home. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, providing us with a restful night's sleep after our days of exploration and celebration. But perhaps the highlight of our stay was the breathtaking ocean view. Waking up to the sight of the Pacific Ocean stretching out before us was simply magical. Whether we were enjoying morning coffee on the porch or unwinding in the evening the panoramic vista never failed to captivate us. Even the rainy weather on Saturday couldn't dampen our spirits. In fact, watching the raindrops dance on the waves only added to the cozy ambiance of the house, making it the perfect excuse to curl up indoors and enjoy each other's company. Overall, our stay at this oceanview house on West Cliff Drive met all of our expectations. It provided the perfect backdrop for a memorable birthday celebration with friends, offering comfort, charm, and an unbeatable view. We're already dreaming of our next visit!

Hidden Gem
This house is a hidden gem along one of the most beautiful coast lines. House was well stocked and the ocean views are second to none. We enjoyed walking along the coastline and having easy access to all Santa Cruz attractions. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful views and great location
We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home! You can take walks along the ocean cliff both during the day and at night, when you can listen to relaxing sounds of crashing waves. The house is a bit on the older side but the views cannot be beat. The house is also very close to many great coffee shops with locally roasted beans.

Excellent location to get away from the city
If you are looking to wake up to a gorgeous view and feel the waves crashing then look no further. Perfect for a family -- the bedrooms are located towards the back of the home in a quiet neighborhood. We got to skip the long parking lines to get into the Natural Bridges state beach to see the Monarchs on their way south. Part of West Cliff Dr is washed out but makes for a great walking path to the Lighthouse park. Short drive to get coffee and breakfast from Cat and Cloud. Did the boardwalk in the evening -- plenty of games and amusements for all.

Beautiful View
The location is AMAZING! The ocean view cannot be beat. The bedrooms were cozy and provided a peaceful night's sleep, and waking up to the sound of waves crashing was a true delight. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals. We didn't spend much time at the home, but the time we did was comfortable & cozy.

Great house, great location.
Beautiful house with tasteful beach decor. Large dining table, bar stools, and plenty of seating throughout the home. Ultra-comfortable sectional with reclining chairs in living room is ideal to enjoy the million dollar view, people watch, read, or visit. Desk and lounge sofa ideally situated in the front window All rooms feel spacious with plenty of surfaces to organize your belongings. Kitchen is stocked with everything you need to prepare and enjoy your meals. My mother has trouble with stairs so we appreciated that this house is one level with only a few short steps to enter. Additional "bedroom" located within the garage is great for more space, although it does not have a bathroom so that could be a consideration for some, but for our group it wasnt a problem. Only other downside was that the entire area has poor cell service, WiFi was great in the house, but does not reach the garage room. Overall, would definitely recommend this property!

Thanks for your he kind feed back. We do notify guests there is not a bathroom in the 4 th bedroom ( bonus bedroom) it’s not advertised as having a 3 rd bathroom, plus I mention it n our correspondence. We have a landline for our guests as cell phone crevice with certain carriers can be spotty. .

Great week in Santa Cruz
Our family enjoyed our stay. The house was clean and well stocked and just as it appeared in the photos. We enjoyed the views from the kitchen and living room. We also loved walking along West Cliff Dr. in both directions. There was a great couch in the living room that fit the whole family. Would love to come back.

Great vacation!
The Absolute beach house is absolutely wonderful! We stayed for spring break and had a great time. The home is very clean and comfortable, and exactly as listed and shown in the photos. The location cannot be beat. It was a great opportunity to rest and recharge - we really enjoyed looking out at the bay with an unobstructed view. As noted in previous reviews, the path along the water is high traffic with walkers and runners but we really loved watching the world go by. No issues at all during our stay - away from the touristy spots but close enough to everything. Thanks for a great experience!

Just as advertised!
Our stay at this rental was as easy and pleasant as it could have been. We had 8 guests total and fit inside hanging out together quite comfortably. Everything went as it was expected to go, and I would stay here again in a heartbeat. I would also recommend the place to friends. Location was beautiful, house was clean and comfortable, communicating with the manager was easy and cordial. Everything was good.

Great location!
This home was perfect for my 3 sisters and me. We loved the ocean view and it was fun to people watch as there's a wonderful walking path across the street. We walked to Natural Bridges and saw the Monarch butterflies. The kitchen had everything we needed, the beds were comfortable and we loved being able to see the sunset. We had a wonderful time here.

Wow, what a great house and location! Just steps away to the waves crashing on the shoreline. We very much enjoyed our stay at this cozy house. Everything was setup for an easy stay and they had even decorated for the holidays to enhance our experience. We will certainly consider staying here again if we are in the Santa Cruz area and would highly recommend the property to anyone looking for a nice stay at the ocean. The property owner was a delight to work with and replied to all my questions. Overall a great experience!!

I grew up in Santa Cruz county, visit often, and feel like this property is the perfect location to vacation to enjoy the ocean, downtown, and the Boardwalk. Being right on Westcliff and within walking distance of great restaurants and coffee spots was amazing.

BEST VIEW FROM A KITCHEN TABLE FOR SURE LOVE THE OCEAN
It was an excellent house with an awesome view and SOUND of the ocean Loved using the fireplace with windows open to hear ocean when we relaxed at night before bed. The recliners were fabulous for watching TV Wished the MASTER bedroom had a TV but that is the ONLY suggestion I could make. Liz was great and very helpful to me.

The property was as pictured. Liz was very responsive to questions. The location is perfect for strolling the scenic path for 3 miles. Well maintained, nice neutral walls; bedroom furniture typical for beach rental. Living areas had more updated furniture. Would suggest new towels & sheets, but overall everything was great!

Lovely oceanside home
Lovely property. Had just the sleeping configuration we needed. We had four seniors and one person under 5 feet tall. The tall table and chairs in the dining area were a bit of a struggle but we made do. The chairs were even a struggle for some of us who were taller. Seemed taller than most of this type of chair. Would have appreciated shorter seating and table. Perfect location. We spent much time on the beach and searching tidepools. Kitchen had all that we needed for the cooking we did. Beautifully furnished. Glad we had the opportunity to stay in this lovely home even though it stretched our budget a bit.

Great oceanfront house
This is a centrally located house that faces the Pacific, and we enjoyed our stay here. The property owners were very communicative; there was plenty of room for all of us (5 in the family) and like I said above: it was near everything. Beaches are a short walk away, groceries are nearby, downtown Santa Cruz is a short drive away and of course Monterey Aquarium and Capitola are close by too. Thanks for a great house and a wonderful vacation!
