Lee at front desk was very helpful. Basic breakfast provided, it is so so. The location is unbeatable - being a few blocks to the beach. Would definitely come back

AMAZING place! Cute, peaceful, with beautiful flowers and plant trellises all over. It gives an English cottage vibe. My Fiance and I LOVED our time here. But my favorite part is how much you get for your money. When we checked in they let us know there was a complimentary champagne bottle in our room, complimentary breakfast served 7am-10am and free bike and DVD rentals upon request! It feels like you can actually go on vacation and just just relax and have fun and enjoy the hotel and space and area and the staff are so nice and helpful! I don't think I've ever been at a hotel where it didn't feel like I was price gouged, but also the place was out of a storybook, the area is RIGHT by downtown AND the beach, and so much comes with your room. This was truly my favorite hotel I've ever stayed in. Highly recommend!

This is a beautiful two story inn, well-maintained and one block from the beach. Trendy shopping and dining areas area short walk away. The continental breakfast and afternoon wine and cheese were great bonuses, and the staff were very attentive and helpful. We will stay here next time we are in town.

Nice and clean inn. Friendly and attentive staff. The only negative thing was that our room was next to the office and each morning we were waken up at 6 am by the staff making noise behind the wall.

We enjoyed our stay at the Lavender Inn. It is a lovely hotel with comfortable beds, complimentary champagne was a nice treat! Within walking distance to the beach & wharf . Only one thing we would have liked is if non dairy creamer were available. Would definitely stay again!

This was an overall good stay. The hotel is very outdated. The room was stuffy and humid. On the up side, everything was walkable distance and the bed was comfortable and the shower was nice. The windows were not very private.

It's a beautiful property, with clean, spacious rooms. The happy hour and breakfast are an added bonus. We walked 2 blocks to the beach in the morning, and when it was time to leave, we hopped on the freeway just up the street. It was quiet and peaceful overnight. The front desk staff couldn't have been nicer. We'll be back!

Lavender Inn is lovely. Special thanks to the receptionist who gave us lots of lovely recommends for our stay in Santa Barbara. The grounds around then room are especially lovely and the swimming pool is an added bonus. Delicious breakfast and free wine in the afternoon included.

Lee at the front desk was very friendl, helped us check in and throughly explained the facilities. Rooms were great, though I heard some noise from the room above - but it was very brief. Location is great to drive out to just about anywhere in Santa Barbara. Would definitely visit again.

Such an adorable hotel! My wife and I stayed here on our honeymoon trip up the PCH. Only stayed 1 night but we will be back again because we had a lovely stay.

The room was not clean. The WiFi is terrible and not state of the art (technically poor captive portal). There was old pasta lying around behind the closet. Insects were in the room and chirping at night until I finally found them all and squished them. The pool is tiny and from the street it's like being on a presentation plate. Something for children at best. The hotel is only suitable for old people who can get drunk here with the free wine and have no other requirements. It is right next to the highway, so you can't sleep very well. The road is in bad condition, to walk anywhere you have to cross a freeway entrance, and you get wet because part of the walkway is flooded apparently.

This place is a hidden gem! It boasts a unique atmosphere and an ideal location within walking distance of the beach and downtown's many restaurants and stores. We loved the thoughtful touches like the lavender sachets on the pillows and the happy hour food and drinks in the lobby upon our afternoon arrival. While the gym is conveniently located across the street in their sister hotel, it's still readily accessible. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel!

Happy Hour, bottle of champagne and water in room, breakfast, free parking, beautiful pool, property clean and well cared for. Rooms slightly outdated; but all the amenities mentioned above outweigh the beauty of the room.

This time was our fourth stay at this motel. We love the location, easy parking and friendly staff. The only issue we had is the humidity smell in the room (we left windows open) and also the absence of hot water later in the morning. I guess we should have taken showers earlier in the day.
