Villaer i San Gusmè

"This was a great villa in the Chianti region. The villa suited our group of six. The location was ideal for visiting Siena, Florence and surrounding towns. Roberto responded immediately to any questions we had. A welcome basket was wonderful, supplying any immediate breakfast or snack needs. The wine was a pleasant surprise also. Be sure to follow Roberto's written instructions to the villa. GPS gets you close but his instructions are needed! Would definitely recommend."

Fabio was a wonderful host - very responsive and always happy to assist with arrangements or answer questions. The property is vast with many beautiful spaces to relax and cook. "The pictures don't do the place justice. This villa is like something out of a Hollywood Rom Com set in an idealistic fictional Tuscan village. Not only is the villa and the views from every window simply stunning, the town of Loro Cuifena is one of the prettiest villages in all of Italy. The ONLY downside is that the drive up the mountain to the villa is not for the feint of heart."

"It was a special family get away to celebrate a 60th wedding anniversary. The Villa is spectacular, but the views are incredible! We even watched a hot air balloon fly over Siena at dawn! Everything we could need to cook at the Villa was provided, we hired a chef on night and he had everything he needed as well! "Das Ferienhaus liegt wunderschön inmitten der Natur. Wer kein Problem hat mit dem Auto über schmale Schotterwege zu fahren, für die ist es ein Traum, auch die Anfahrtsbeschreibung war sehr gut verständlich. Alles war sauber und die Ausstattung mehr als gut. Leider war ein Zimmer im Nebengebäude nur über eine sehr steile Wendeltreppe zu erreichen. (Ist für junge Leute okay, aber für 60+ beschwerlich). Küchenausstattung mit Gasherd, Spülmaschine und großer Kühl- Gefrierkombination optimal, leider...

"This house is very nice. It is centrally located outside Siena and good location to explore all over Tuscany. It is off the beaten path so you’ll definitely need a rental car. Even just to get there. It is remote. Which is a plus but also has some drawbacks. We went in March so pool was closed. Too cold to swim. House is several levels. Kitchen and dining room are downstairs. We cooked several simple meals after going into town to grab groceries. Nearby town is nice. Not a lot of restaurant...

"The views were beyond compare! Proximity to Castellina in Chianti was wonderful and the management team were responsive to a few issues. My main comment would be, especially considering the rental cost, that the furniture and kitchen supplies (dishes etc) needs upgrading and the quality of the beds/linens should be improved. Overall however, it was a lovely stay! Grazie."
