Små værelser, dyr parkering
Meget minimalistisk værelse, vi havde 2 kufferter og 2 rygsække med, hvilket resulterede i at vi havde svært ved at være der, vi er på længere rundtur i usa og dette er det mindste værelse vi har haft. Vi overvejede at bestille køleskab, men endte med i stedet at smide vores madvarer ud, og købe friske da vi kørte videre.. Det kom noget bag på os at det kostede 40 dollars i døgnet at parkere, det ville vi gerne havde vidst på forhånd. Hotellet er hyggeligt, men værelserne trækker voldsomt ned.

Dear Denja,Thank you for your recent stay at King George Hotel. Being located in a historic building in downtown San Francisco, our rooms are indeed on the smaller size. We apologize if this was not a good fit for your stay, however, it is our hope that you had found our hotel comfortable so that you could have some rest and a good sleep. As for parking; it ranges between 40-70 usd per night, so the options we recommend are very competitive compared to other garages. We appreciate your feedback and hope to have a second chance in future trips to the city!

The staff that accommodate me that night is not pleasant. I've arrived around pass midnight the front desk person is not happy to see me like i felt that I've disturbed what she is doing. Not gonna recommend this place to anybody that I know.

The night when I checked in the staff wasn't nice, they put me in the smelly room where the window wasn't opening and I asked twice and the guy said I heard it( not with polite manners) and moved me to another two single bedroom, bed wasn't comfortable it was small for me, I asked if they move me the king size bed which I booked and paid, they just made a note and didn't do action. They charged extra for breakfast but three times I came downstairs at 9:30 am and there was nothing left, and the timing was 8 to 10.

Very kind and helpful staff. I liked the vibe. Hower, the condition of the room was not comfortable: Broken ceiling fan, terrible water pressure (shower almost worthless), heat didn't work, and bedding the worst: either give people a proper duvet and duvet cover, or a topsheet and a blanket. But sandwiching a polyester thin blanket between two topsheets is not bedding. It's a mess to sleep in. May be more convenient for cleaning staff, but NOT for the customer.

The hotel was very cute & provided a daily complimentary breakfast of muffins, sweet rolls & coffee that was convenient & tasty. The only slight inconvenience was the slow elevator but everything else was perfect!

Property is located in a not so desirable neighborhood. From the outside property looks well kept . However once you enter the building u will notice its not well maintained. We spent two nights there and the room was awful. From entering the room , the light switch which also controls the fan was not working as expected. The bed sheet seemed to have a cigarette burn , which i found out later a big stray fluff. The pillow case had a blood stain . Room is super small and bathroom even smaller. Wallpaper peeling off and the door handle came off. My wife was stranded in there for a while . Bailed her out by opening door from outside. There was rust everywhere and the shower control was broken. Awful bathroom. The elevator ( only had one ) was old and took ages to come . Constantly full of people so took a while to get down from 4th floor . Decided to walk down the stairs - a big mistake as they are super narrow and windy. Be very careful. Checkin front desk staff could not be bothered. I would highly recommend paying a little extra and stay at the Marriot/ Hyatt class of hotel . I learned my lesson and want to let other people know of my bad experiences. .

I always rate hotels by the bathroom/shower condition. This was below my standards- limited hot water, old tiles...just not for me.

It located in the center of SF. Very convenient. Room was clean and staff was helpful. Only thing needs improvement to have an extra blanket in room. We asked an extra blanket because the blanket on bed was too thin.

Hotel was lovely but they need to upgrade their windows to some sort of soundproofing... the hotel is a good area close to union square and very walkable sf but at night as a weary traveller last i wanted was to hear every hour people yelling and screaming in agony outside my room other than that it was fantastic

Like it says Boutique hotel, it was “cute”, well kept but the room was small. It was fine cause all we needed was a bed and shower. It would’ve been nice if breakfast was served a bit longer. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

The water did not work and would cut out while showering. The heat also did not work. We notified the front desk about both issues and neither issue was fixed. The heater actually started shooting out water while the sink was not working which was kind of funny.

The main floor communal areas are super cute. Very small rooms and a tiny staircase with one elevator so lucky we were only on the third floor. But the bed was super comfortable and the staff were excellent. Very good place for price. Would stay again.

The hotel is an old, established building which offers clean, comfortable beds and bathrooms and a comfortable reception area. Lots of eating places nearby. As in most busy cities, quite noisy outside, but quiet on 9th floor. Service from Vivian on reception was outstanding.
