I stayed in this hotel in 1999 and didn't recognize it when I entered the lobby for check-in as it had been remodeled. Unfortunately, the materials and colors that were used gives it a very cold and unwelcoming feeling. At check-in I learned that parking was not included and cost $18 a night which they lowered to $16 because I did not see it mentioned when I booked this hotel.
The faucet in the bathroom sink was too far back and thus I had to put a towel around it to prevent water from leaking all over the top of the sink. The towel rack for the handtowels were so far away from the sink that I had to hang the hand towel opposite the sink on the wall where the hair dryer was hanging.
The corners of the room weren't clean and the carpet was fraying.
This hotel went from a beautiful place to stay to a very uncomfortable one.
Overall, the staff was fine.
