The hotel room was spacious. But when I wanted to use the mini fridge, there was mold spot inside and the smell was terrible. I was not able to use the fridge. In addition, there are yellow stain spots on the bedsheet.

Rooms NOT serviced daily. There should be enough coffee and towels in the room for the # of people room sleeps/reserved for. Silly parking is extra cost! Hotel is not located in busy downtown/ocean front area, parking should be included. The stay was adequate but will consider staying elsewhere next time I visit SD

There's a very nice gym. The kiosk next to front desk is neat and convenient. I may be too sensitive with neighbors’ noise though, I could hear upstairs and next door.

When you’re paying over $200 for a hotel room and your window faces train tracks but the hotel front desk says this is how all of the 1 bed bedrooms are, so you go to check out and get refunded but magically another room with a different window outlook appears.

You can tell they are trying to update the hotel but still get a feeling of remnants of 1980s decor (mirrored closet door falling off of rails as I opened it). Also saw some questionable fire sprinklers in the bathroom that were completely rusted out. The beds were horrible, no firmness whatsoever, the sides of the bed completely sank in as you sat on them. There was no firmness in the pillows at all. It’s nice to upgrade decor to make the hotel feel “current” but you need to invest in the biggest reason for your hotel…sleep. A big shock to my family was that this is the first Hilton we have ever been to that charges for breakfast….for standard items that would be available at a free breakfast (fruit, yogurt, bagels, toast) we were charged $20/plate…craziness. The staff was friendly.

Sam at the front desk was the absolute best. He was kind and funny and so helpful. And Roxie in the cafe was so sweet. She handled some arrogant guests with such class. This was a nice getaway for my husband and I. We will definitely come back again!

Didn't like there TV was very limited and didn't show to many good shows. They didn't have any shows that feature like BET, especially during Black History Months. They had that channel in the past meaning BET channel. I would think first before staying there again.

Black mold in our room. The shower smelt like an open sewer. Our towels were dirty and used, had makeup and pubic hairs on them. Homeless camp behind the parking lot, woke up to a pile of poopy toilet paper next to my car. Broken coffee machine. Rude check in clerk(bleached hair and black plug earrings). Overall bad experience.

Customers service isn't very helpful when we checked in. We originally booked with non-accessible room, but they got us an accessible room which we were unable to change. We even offered if we can pay the different to get a more kid's friendly room, but they refused and had nothing to offer. Very disappointed with the service and the cleanliness of the room.

Misleading picture
Toliet was clogged, sink overflow when wasn’t event using it. No asking if towels were needed or anything. We were there for a large event. Also heard that they did not meet the accommodation that were asked of our host of event.
