It's amazing how color brings life to a scene. I was drawn to this shot by the pop of red the leaves brought. It was as if Autumn was fighting for a voice as Winter took over. There's something that always calms me about the blank canvas that snow gives. It seems to turn the mundane into a beautiful mystery. In this case, a charming weathered barn that I'm sure could tell a few stories given the chance. To me, the horse represents life, telling us that although the barn has seen a few years, it's not done yet. Clean and comfortable room. Staff very cordial and efficient. Condition of hotel well maintained. The thing that stood out the most for us was a reasonable fee for having our dog with us--$25 a night. Many hotels in Park City say they are "dog friendly" but they charge astronomical fees for dogs--$250 ...

We highly recommend the homestead in Midway. The rooms were very clean and well maintained. The hot pool & spas were so beautifully put together and we look forward to visiting again soon. Overall Amazing relaxing weekend get away.
