Valerie graciously offered and refunded a portion of our fees for the minor inconvenience and VRBO apparently took her money but never gave it to us and that is on VRBO, not Valerie. "We had a very nice stay. Communication with host and check in /checkout was very good. The property was clean and host was very responsive to minor requests after arrival. It was a great gathering house to enjoy family with options to cook meals if desired. Home is in a quiet secure neighborhood. It’s very quiet and peaceful around Oyster Pond and (as others have noted), there’s a wonderful small grocery store/patisserie/coffee spot about 1.5 km away (surprisingly, they were open Xmas/New Years Days).
