We stayed there for our anniversary and even though we flew in the Saturday before Hurricane Irma devastated the island, the hotel and the islanders made sure we had an amazing time. The resort pools and beach are both so relaxing and feel private as there aren't resorts right next door. Tons of local shops, restaurants etc are in walking distance. "Sonesta was alright as a whole. The good things about this resort is the facilities and the options and selections of restaurants, drinks etc. The bad things about the place is definitely the service. I have rarely experienced such bad service on a holiday. The service (or lack thereof) was mainly an issue in the restaurants, where the staff was rude. I even had a waiter rolling her eyes because I asked for a baby chair. "

"Grand case beach resort is a true slice of heaven- the beach on the property is wonderful- the food in town is excellent and the property itself has all you need. It would be nice if they had free shuttles taking you downtown grand case instead of always having to walk or pay for an expensive taxi."
