"Chalet dated but very clean and well equipt. Fabulous location and we sat outside on the decking frequently. Very close to a main trainline into London but we knew this as visiting friends having previously lived in Broxbourne. Didn't bother us. Sofa not comfortable to sit & enjoy TV. Very hard. Only other negative was the twin beds. Despite the mattress toppers, the springs in the mattresses have gone. They do need replacing. Sadly we had an uncomfortable few nights sleep! "

Excellent location in a really beautiful village with great dog walks and friendly pub (The Fleece) which served us well on two nights Easy parking and great for visiting Lavenham and Long Melford"

"Our third time in this cosy cottage. As before, everything was perfect. The cottage is comfortable with a big garden, very well equipped and located conveniently close to a train station (Dullingham) for visits to Cambridge etc. We also enjoyed a dinner in the local pub, The Bull, and long walks in the area. People here are really friendly and welcoming. A big Thank You to Robbie for being such a great host! We enjoyed our stay a lot, and will be back."

"This was my second stay here at Meadow view Cottage. Beautiful garden with a great place to sit at the end to chill with a glass of wine and watch the sunset. Plenty of pubs to choose from, a great Indian restaurant (Onion Bhaji) and a great walk from Long Melford to Sudbury along the tree lined disused old railway track."

"Lily pad could be wonderful. Its setting is beautiful. I was really looking forward to staying. However the lodge is damp and the heating is wholly inadequate, the macerator in the shower room had leaked under the laminate floor and was still leaking on my arrival.The property was a health hazard. It stank and the noise of the macerator and vent was horribly noisy. Paymán expected me to stay let a handyman try and fixit.he was due to get to me in an hour. I had arrived at 5:40 at 6:50they...

"We've had a fantastic Easter holliday at this truly lovely and cozy cottage. The hosts were really nice, helpful and accommodating and the place its self was stunning, brand new and well organised. We honesty couldn't be happier! Sunning cottage and lovely country walks all around. we are really looking forward to go back again!"

The location is perfect; close enough to town to walk to the shops, cafes and restaurants, but off the main road for peace and quiet. The cottage was spotless and beautifully decorated, everything you need is provided. Deb and Lucy answered our questions quickly and efficiently. "I didn't receive any instructions for self check in until I called the letting agent. The property is dark and dingy. It smelled damp and was cluttered with unnecessary furniture (large sofa foot stool, 4 armchairs, 4chairs, fridge freezer & non working fridge, for a double room). The decor is very worn with signs of damage. The carpets are stained. The external area was very overgrown with weeds. The TV remote didn't work and there was no TV ariel connected. The undercounter lights flashed on...

"A lovely little stay in the Cambridgeshire countryside. It's pretty basic but once you've got the heater going, it's lovely. A beautiful lake to look out onto with parking next to you, it's pretty decent. "

"We were a party of 13/15 people and stayed for a weekend break at Pattiswick Hall. We had a fabulous time and would love to return someday. The hall easily accommodated our party and the rooms were spacious and clean - the grounds were lovely and secluded. Highly recommended for a large family gathering"
