"Yes, close by"

"Amazing and intimate service, by Andreas and his wife, we felt special and welcome from the first second and it continued like that - Rothmann Manor is a must stay when in Swellendam!"

"Fint sted desværre noget langt fra byen og et township få hundrede væk …."

"Simpelthen fantastisk Alt er til top karakter. Eneste lille minus er at man skal køre for at komme til restauranter i byen men det er så lille detalje at det ikke betyder noget i helheden"

"En sand perle. Det skønneste værelse, fantastiske omgivelser og en sød og sympatisk vært. Vil anbefale alle at besøge stedet. "

"The hotel is excellent. Food excellent and very friendly people. Would definitely stay again "

"We just loved the stay. Great view. Perfect service and a Owner that is passionate!"

"Charming rustic setting on a riverfront. Conveniently located just a couple of blocks from shopping and restaurants. Free onsite parking. Friendly, helpful owner/operator. Excellent full breakfast with fresh homemade bread, cooked to order. Many extra touches that made this an excellent choice and made us wish that we could have stayed longer."

"Awesome location to stay in CPT, 25min from Airport and less than 10 from downtown. Ibrahim and Simon were so kind and the stay was perfect. A beautiful room very clean and I slept like a baby because the neighborhood were so quiet, after a long flight it was so appreciable. Breakfast was a blast and I recommend Oeuf Benedictine and pancakes, was full for the day. This is a small boutique hotel just renovated and opened this season, with lot of charm that I enjoyed a lot. Will be back for sure."

"Amazing view"

"Lovely staff, singling out Carmen and Felicia for special compliments! Food and service were good. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The views from the main lodge were outstanding. The pool was much warmer than our last visit in September 2004! We found Hog Hollow had lost a little of its rustic charm and was more like a hotel. "

"This guest house felt like a home away from home. The fire was inviting and the staff were warm and fun to talk to about rugby and all things South African. Breakfast was delicious and the rooms were individual and comfortable."

"This is a must visit venue- the location, rooms, amenities and staff are simply excellent. We were looked after from the very first minute until we left. I cannot praise them highly enough."

"Great location near UCT, clean modern comfortable rooms, very helpful staff, nice shower, nice breakfast. Only two very minor complaints: the internet in my room was unreliable (though better in my friend’s room), and I wished there were conditioner besides shampoo. Otherwise, perfect!"

"Lækkert boutique hotel godt beliggende i St. James med flot udsigt over Atlanterhavet og False Bay. Tæt ved strand og hyggelig surfersted ved Kalk Bai, Fishhoek og Muizenberg. Hyggelige cafeer og gode restauranter i nærheden. God mulighed for motion på sti / boardwalk langs stranden. En god atmosfære på St. James Manor Guest house, hvor der også var et hyggeligt pool område bagved hotellet. Suiten var stor og velindrettet."
