"We had a wonderful stay! We loved our ground floor room, the outdoor shower was great for keeping our room sand free during our stay. It was quiet, the air conditioner was cold/worked well and the hosts were exceptional. They also allowed us to check in early for a small fee. 10/10 - Would definitely stay again!"

"The property was conveniently located. My room was opposite trash cans and old empty boxes. I was excited to stay but the photos on this sight made the property look significantly better than it is. They also could not locate my reservation. The area was smelly and there was trash everywhere. I left one day early even though I had paid for the night. I am so disappointed with my experience."

I especially loved the pool area—it was beautiful and so enjoyable. Check-in was easy and hassle-free. The only thing I missed was having a TV in the room, but honestly, that didn’t take away from the overall experience. I would definitely recommend Hix Island House and would love to stay again!"
