Fantastisk beliggenhed
Hotellet kan være svært at finde, da der mangler lidt skiltning. Hotellet fremstår fint med ganske lidt slitage. Personalet er søde og venlige og serviceminded. Værelserne er fine og morgenmaden er middel af karakter. Men beliggenheden nær ved Trastevere (2 min gang over Ponte Sisto), Circus Maximus, Colosseum og Foro Romano er helt i top. Det ligger fantastisk placeret og det er nemt at gå ud af hotellet og gå til fx Peterskirken. Det tog max 30 min. Så vælg det for beliggenhedens skyld.

Very sus. Location hard to find. There was not a secure location for our bags when we arrived early. The rooms are very basic and not kept up very well. Did not feel comfortable or very safe here. Do not recommend.

This property is in the perfect location to explore rome. Everything is within easy walking distance. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. You will need to request for the aircon in your room everytime you return but other than that it the hotel was fantastic

I have traveled for five months now and this Has to be the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. I cannot control the heat in the room it has to be controlled from the reception. The problem is is there’s no one there in the reception, the problem is is, there is no one in reception, and the reason why is because the person that manages the reception also does housekeeping the reception breakfast, etc. it started with me not being able to get access to the hotel because it’s also is also shared with local residences in the area and you need get through security just to gain access needless to say it was pouring with rain I had just arrived and could not get in. I am currently looking for another hotel to stay at as this is unacceptable.

Dear Peter,we really don't know where you stayed because all you said never happen to MZ Hotel, we have reception 24h and the entrance is no shared with anybody else but the guest of the hotel.About the issues in the room we also proposed you another one where you can control the AC BUT YOU REFUSED.If you are not satisfied please leave the hotel right now, we don't want you to stay in an unpleasant place for you.The receptionist is at the desk waiting for you whenever you need.Best regards

Terrible stay
Do not stay here. Gave the hotel a chance to give us a refund but they refused. So here I am. Location is great since it is right across the river from trastevere and easily 10 minutes to the sites like the pantheon and colliseum on the east side of the river. The bad? Dust that makes my sinus clog, black mold in the wallpaper, sounds of water running in the pipes all night, refrigerator not working, walls that are not soundproof.

Good location, walking distance to Piazza Navona and Pantheon. Modest breakfast. Very small superior room, definitely not big enough for 2 people (108). And too early check-out (10:30am). First and last time in MZ Hotel.

Location, location
This hotel was difficult to find but once you acclimated to the neighborhood you realized you were in a wonderful location. This hotel is right across to Sitio bridge to lively Trestavare. The hotel was pleasant no frills.

Hôtel convenable, propre et service très correcte. Petites remarques par rapport à l’aménagement de la chambre, le placard etait un peu endommagé (le kit se voyait), douche étroite et le manque d’isolation sonores entre les chambres. Heureusement qu’il y avait pas bcp de résidents.

This hotel was relatively inexpensive, and what I'd describe it as functional as a place to stay for a week in Rome. It was clean, and well positioned as place to walk to most of the common tourist sites, such as the Vatican, the Pantheon, Colloseum and Trevi Fountain! It would not win any prizes for its external appearance, looking a bit like a shop front, but the reception staff were most helpful on arrival, providing us with a map, and took time to indicate the hotel location and drawing around the location of key tourist features! The restaurant in the basement serves a reasonable breakfast, sufficient to set you up for the day! But does not serve mid-day or evening meals! You have to get these from local shops or restaurants. If you walk south over the river using the pedestrian bridge,Pont Sisto, it takes you to the main restaurant district, where you can buy a multitude of food types, which was busy, but enjoyable! When we arrived the hotel entrance was located in a quadrangle of apartments with cars parked within. It is in a quiet location, but within easy reach of the local shops and attractions on foot! If you want the Ritz, it's not the place for you, but if you want relatively low cost good quality accommodation within easy reach of Rome's attractions, I'd suggest the MZ Hotel!

Near the river and bridges. We didn’t have a car - parking would be difficult. Taxi had to wait outside gate so getting luggage was a little difficult. Breakfast was 12 euros and a little mediocre. Ham, eggs, toast, juice.

The hotel is hidden from the street in a courtyard. Love the location relative to Trastervere. Short walk across the bridge to many restaurants and shops. Great bakery shop less than 2 minute walk from hotel door. Room was modern, clean and quiet. Perfect for our stay prior to our cruise.

Reception needs help as first impressions are everything. Also, our room was so tiny. Literally had no room for suitcases. Came back from sightseeing one day to find our bed made horribly-literally thrown together. Construction noise in same building began at 8 am so having mid day rest was impossible. Breakfast room also needs help, as well as breakfast. Location was great, room was clean enough…only saving grace.

Staff is excellent. Room is modern and good size for Italy. But, it is extremely annoying that A/C is controlled by the front desk- thermostat in room is locked! They turn A/C off at every opportunity and you have to call them to turn it back on or make temp adjustments. When the A/C was off, we came back to a room that had an unpleasant odor. Also, bring your own tissues- hotel does not provide tissue box.

No frills hotel but perfect for what we needed, which was a place to shower and sleep. The staff was so nice! Close to all the sights, great area with tons of restaurants around. Shower was a bit small/kept leaking but just put a few towels on the floor and everything was good!

The hotel is at a good spot in the city, very easy to get to the attractions by foot. The room was very sparse, didn’t really have almost anything except the basics, the shower door wouldn’t close and it splattered on the floor each time we showered, nothing critical but it felt like no one had a second thought about the guests experience. Also, we took a taxi to the hotel and that’s the only way we found where the hotel is. I think we wouldn’t get there otherwise.

Property was convenient to restaurants and nightlife in Trastevere and clean. However room was tiny as was the shower and our door handle was hanging off from the inside and unusable. We identified it right away and they did not fix for the duration of our stay.

Its in a WEIRD location- hard to find- NOT on a main road- its inside a compound. Next to a public parking. Front of the main entrance is sooo weird- it has a huge cement flower pot with weeds inside. The staff are the BEST ( Federico/ John/Joy/Mark). The rooms are very clean and looks like it has just been renovated. BUT you can actually hear everything from other rooms and even the lobby

MZ was good and location was awesome so close to restaurants, shopping etc. We enjoyed our stay. Found it a little frustrating we couldnt find more than one english speaking channel on tv.
