"This is an excellent, value for money budget hotel. Most facilities are at par with what you would expect from a budget hotel but most outstanding feature is its very helpful staff. Adam is a star. He went above and beyond with anything we needed help with. All other staff we interacted with - Sumit, Helen, Caroline - were all very kind and helpful. Kudos to the management for hiring such awesome people.
The next door pub waggon team is also an asset, good food at reasonable prices.

"Ich habe die Nacht in diesem Hotel sehr gut geschlafen. Das Bett war super bequem - nicht zu hart, nicht zu weich - und die Bettdecke ebenso klasse. Das Hotel wird nach und nach die Zimmer renovieren... meines kommt wohl auch bald dran. Gut - es war noch veraltet, aber auf jeden Fall wirklich sauber. Hier hätte ich es auch noch ein paar Nächte aushalten können."

"The room and en-suite were clean. The bed was firm and comfortable and the sheets were clean.
The staff are first class and happy to help.
Only one personal complaint, the area outside the window is the smoking area and with it being hot, I had to keep the window open which meant the smell of tobacco and weed would fill the room and the loud conversations were annoying.
I am although happy to recommend the hotel."

"I use this as a stop over before and after flying at Newcastle Airport. It’s a 7 minute walk to the terminal and it clean and the owners are friendly and very helpful especially regarding early morning departure or late night arrivals. More comfortable than the three other hotels on airport "

"Hotellet ligger meget centralt og tæt på togstationen. God plads på værelset og et meget fint badeværelse.
Man skal betale for at få tv og wifi på værelset. Vi betalte £5 for wifi i 24 timer. Man kunne også betale £20 for hele opholdet. Vi gjorde også brug af bagageopbevaring, da vi ankom før vi kunne få vores værelse. £5 Per taske.
Meget venlig og hjælpsom personale.

"After a seven hour drive from Skye in wet and stormy conditions, it was wonderful to arrive at Lanehead Old School where Lisa had lit the log burner in the large and comfortable hall and made me feel immediately at ease. The sleeping quarters are very cosy, with a separate bathroom and living room containing everything you need for a relaxed stay, best of all a very comfortable bed. Next morning breakfast was sumptuous, cooked to perfection by Lisa who is a super host. L’oasis a special place...
