"The only downfall to this hotel is the walking distance you have to do from where you park then the walk uphill to the hotel. I have breathing issues,. Thank goodness they have a sitting area once you get in to rest.before going onto your room. A suggestion maybe have a valet."

"If rustic charm is on your bucket list, the Kittle House is brimming it….older floorboards, wooden beams, and a copper ceiling in the taproom. There are modern amenities alongside older fixtures….that plumbing (3/4”?) provides a powerful shower! We stayed during the holidays, and the inn was decorated beautifully. Continental breakfast included. This hotel services an area in Westchester that has few options for lodgings. Fortunately, this inn is a wonderful option."

"We booked the property because our family is growing too large for all of the children and grandchildren to spend the holidays together. The “holiday house” as our 4 year old coined it was the perfect place to spend Christmas and Hanukkah. Large yet cozy and very well appointed. All of our communication with proprietors was prompt and helpful, and they had the driveway salted and plowed within hours of the (very picturesque) snowfall the day before Christmas. I would happily book here again. "

"Our stay was very pleasant! No real complaints. Just a quick heads up for anyone this might matter to, when you look out the window the wilderness is literally right there, and so we want to mention that we did encounter some spiders and one house centipede during our stay. To be clear, the place was NOT dirty at all though. So, we just coexisted for the duration of our two day stay. Beyond that, it was comfortable, cozy, and gave us just the dose of nature that we needed. The check in process...

"This is our second stay at Maria's property. We love the location to the quaint town of Croton-on-Hudson, other towns in the vicinity and NYC. The apartment is nicely appointed and had everything we needed. It was a nice touch to have coffee supplies available since we had a late arrival and could not grocery shop until the next day. Maria is an excellent host who makes sure all is going well with your stay. Thank you Maria. We will be back. "

"The property worked well for our family and everything went smoothly. My only complaint is that the highway is quite close and the noise is not what I'd have liked to hear while drifting off to sleep.
