"This is as good as it gets! Pictures don’t convey how peaceful, charming, and idyllic this cottage on the lake is.Orestes (and Spot, the Jack Russell terrier!) are the perfect hosts, as well. Friendly, down to earth, and made sure our stay was as good as can be. His weekend breakfasts were delicious, too!We highly recommend staying for a weekend (or longer!) getaway—you will definitely want to return. Five !"

"We had a meditation retreat at this home. The home is large- and is a charming house that seemed to go on forever. Two huge communal rooms- both we large enough for both yoga and meditation. The community is quiet and off the beaten path which it a very special location - this is the second time we rented this place from Travis. He was always in communication and was a great host. Very accommodating and responsive to any our needs.i highly recommend this home. Thank you again."

"My brother, sister and I were looking for a property that reminded us of our family vacations at a lake in New Hampshire. This house was perfect: gorgeous view of the lake, comfortable bedrooms, nice amenities, pretty decor and a working fireplace! Two suggestions: a light marking the driveway for late arrivals, and a few extra blankets in the bedrooms. Otherwise, just great. And thanks for arranging the lovely early spring weather, too!"

"Great spot! Very peaceful property and unique house. The proximity of the house to the pool and hot tub was great since it was so close. Slept two families of five comfortably with a little creativity. Also took the MetroNorth train to the city one day which was easy too. Highly recommend!"

"We stayed one night in the family room with a king-size and folding bed. The king-size bed was a little too hard for our taste. The folding bed was awful. You could feel the springs and it was uneven. Not suitable for anything other than small children. The wifi was in our room very slow and we could not use it. The hotel has a nice lobby, the staff is very friendly and there was a basic breakfast with bagels, rolls, tea, coffee and some fruit served in the lobby. Expect a basic...

"Great location, exceptional staff very friendly and caring. Very clean, good food. One of the best places to stay in the area. Rooms were well insulated did not hear much hallway or outside noise. We have stayed in 5 other hotels in the area that had 4+star reviews. This hotel significantly better than all of them. "
