"Stayed here to be close to Fahnestock State Park and the Appalachian Trail. Short drive to both but you can actually walk to one part of where the trail cuts through town. They even had kayaks available for my use if needed. Overall very nice place with a big kitchen and bathroom which was great. I would definitely stay here again when in the area and will recommend it to my friends."

"We found listing to be accurate beds were comfortable and air conditioners in each room was a bonus. Grounds were maintained and house was well equipped and nicely decorated with an appreciated welcome basket. Highly Recommend"

"Walking into a bedroom from the outside deck as the main entrance is not optimal. Walking through the second bedroom to use the only bathroom is also not optimal. We never gained access to WIFI bc there was no password to be found and the owner did not answer our calls."

"Our stay in Holmes, NY was exactly what we were hoping for. The house was peaceful, comfortable and perfectly set in a quiet lake. Just what we needed for a relaxing weekend with our daughter. We spent our days enjoying the calm water and our evenings playing pool and ping pong, which made the trip even more fun.
