"Very lovely house, ideal location and was so clean! Owner is very organized with labels even on light switches and providing maps, and vacation guides which made it a very pleasant trip! We were only there for a short trip so we didn't grill or use the fire pit but would of loved to if we stayed longer. Would love to come back with another couple and stay a week to really enjoy all the amenities of the house especially the outdoor patio. "

"The family friends we were meeting who grew up in the area unfortunately had a relative pass away so we were on our own exploring the area; however, the house, mainly the front deck was a great area to gather and enjoy everyone's company; we also had their kids stay with us as a distraction and there was plenty of room; my wife and kids loved the sound of the farm, moos at different times of the day."

"This charming little apartment is in a great location, off the beaten track but still within a few minutes' drive of downtown Watkins Glen. The view of the lake, at least in Fall, can't be beat, and we could hear racers at the Speedway doing laps in the morning. The pictures are accurate -- the bedroom is very cozy, but the living area and bathroom are good-sized and the kitchen and bath are nicely modern with full-sized appliances (no mini-fridge here!). Couple things stand out that I must...

"We stayed for only a few days. I wish it were longer. The house was perfect and the property amazing. The owner was a wonderful communicator and answered questions very quickly. Anything we needed was provided. I'm eager to return!"

"We had a wonderful stay at the Cook mansion. Quiet street, just steps away from the falls. The kitchen was well equipped and the house was large enough to spread out. Beds were comfortable and had plenty of extra blankets. We definitely recommend this house."

"The house was very nice, just as advertised and the surroundings were peaceful and remote and only 10 mins fron Watkins Glen. Most everything you might need for a 4 to 7 day stay was available. I would say my only complaint was the sulfur smell of the well water. If i was the owner, id be looking into a serious charcoal filtration system. If your used to city water, you're going to have issue with this properties water supply. We made due with plenty of bottled drinking water, but washing...
