"Unfortunately the bar beer cooler was being repaired so there was no draft beer available. Despite this there was also no bottled beer. Also I stayed in Room 1 which was clean and tidy but situated beside the main door to the building so was disturbed regularly with the banging of the door."

"it was fantastic for the money all was clean and good this is a good hotel i will come back again and again thank you for my stay "

"Most lovely welcome from Julie the Manager, all the staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was spacious and clean, mini fridge, room was nice and warm. Will definitely book again when they reopen in Spring"

"Lovely view"

"Really good accommodation if you’re looking for a couple of nights in Scarborough. Some parking at the hotel for £6 per night but on street parking in the immediate vicinity for £5 for 48 hours (pay at hotel - absolute bargain). Very good breakfast in a nice restaurant directly overlooking North Bay. If you book a sea view room, that really is what you’ll get. Very happy to recommend. For the price out of season, it’s excellent"

"Good for a night or two. Tired, empty large corridors. Walls are thin. But it's warm, and in a decent area"

"Clean warm room."

"Good location, really nice chap, would go again"

"Very friendly host. Great value"

"Really lovely beachfront property with a balcony over the beach. Check in was easy as was parking and the staff were very pleasant and helpful. It’s a great location and the apartments are really nice. Would recommend."

"Det er et meget gammelt og hyggeligt sted, med løbende vedligehold. Værelset var fint og rent, med rengøring hver dag. Personalet er utroligt hjælpsomme og venlige, det betyder også at bar og betjening var i topklasse, ligedan med morgenmaden, så vi kan kun varmt anbefale stedet."

"Fantastisk placering og udsigt. Kæmpe sælkoloni. Skal opleves. Gå til/besøg Robin Hood’s Bay langs stranden. "

"Yes, these rooms are above a pub but you can’t hear any noise. The appointments were like that of a luxury hotel. The staff worked behind the bar at the pub for the most part and they were extremely responsive to any request. Not sure many tourists find their way to this particular town, but if you’re anywhere near Scarborough, this is the place to stay."

"I visited here for 3 night with my grandson. The location, views, cleanliness, bedroom were excellent. Only criticism i have is that I'm 68 and our room was on the very top floor. Not the fault of anyone. I would live to stay here again."

"Overall the place was clean and tidy, but we did notice the cooker hood needed a good clean as it was greasy and sticky. Also the lights over the hot tub weren’t working properly. We also found the controls for the hot tub didn’t work properly. We enjoyed our stay and it had all the amenities people need."
