Bed cover was frayed at edges, towels were thin and we were given only 2 towels for a 2 night stay, batteries in the TV remote were not working, heater knob for bath heat lamp was broken and heat light could not be turned on. also, they had a sound machine which is intended to play soothing music. again, no batteries and not in working condition. "It's an older hotel, but very well kept and always affordable! The washer and dryer work great and only cost $2.00 per machine! Anywhere else you're paying almost $4, just to start one cycle. The staff is very friendly and always helpful."

"The beds are terrible. They are on a metal. Frame so every time you would move it sounds .like someone hitting a metal dumpster The mattress were not very comfortable and the room had an order when we arrived. Had to air out the room. "This cabin is charming and cozy. It’s nicely decorated and well-stocked. We appreciated the selection of coffee pods and the bottle of wine. The hosts also had other thoughtful touches like a walking stick for the trails, maps and other information about the area. We enjoyed sitting on the deck to look at the stars. "The Bee's Knees was in a great location in Big Canoe -- right around the corner from the Jeep trail, near the large playground and walking track, near the pools -- it felt centrally located- just a quick drive to everything in the community. "Inviting and comfortable home sitting in the mountains was the perfect get away for our family. The location was perfect. I especially liked the attention to small details and thoughtful amenities in the cabin. The view from our sunroom was popular day and night and the porch areas are very relaxing. I would definitely stay at this caning again. "

"It was just perfect for us up for a wedding at the Tate House. Not too far up in the Big Canoe winding mountain roads so an easy drive/ride but still a nice view of mountain ridges. Close to pool & beach, pickleball courts & clubhouse. The house very clean, nice size rooms, comfy beds, kitchen has all the things! We very much enjoyed our stay and if we go back to BC we’d love to stay again."
