"A little out of the way, so you would need a car if you stay here. The staff was really nice, though the cleaning lady forgot our room one day despite a sign out that cleaning was needed. The pool area was large and our kids loved it. It was worn, and could need a touch up though, but it was functional. The room was small and ants and other small animals kept coming in so that was a little annoying. Overall our stay was okay. "

"The Hotel was wonderful. Breakfast in the morning was great. Staff was helpful and wonderful. Property clean and safe. Walking distance from an array of restaurants. However, when we first arrived the restaurants on the strip are very pricey. You need to find the food courts or Soda( small authentic cooking restaurants, ) on the side streets. Google is your friend. The Beach at Tamarindo is rough and darker waters. Made for surfers not swimmers. We found Conchal and Brasilito...
