"The staff are the most friendly people, and you can see all sorts of incredible wild life right from the restaurant and patio. We saw hawks, pelicans, turtles, a crocodile! We missed dolphins one morning apparently but yeah, it was absolute paradise and the staff were the best part. "

"Our stay at Pavones Point was perfect! The location is right at the top point of Pavones surf break. Walk right across the road and paddle out…or walk a little down to the right for a bit less intense wave. The condo was clean and spacious…had everything we needed. Clean towels, comfortable beds, coffee maker, toaster, blender. No salt or pepper and no trays if you plan on making bacon or roasting anything. And no full length mirrors but the location makes up for that!"

"Beautiful rainforest property with good birding opportunity, birds song, cicadas, and frogs, but "touristy", so the natural vibe gets ruined. It seems they cater to tour groups, so not very private or queit. Have to pay for 3 meals a day but on their schedule that's too late for serious birding and not as healthy as I'd prefer. I travel solo and do not enjoy sitting by myself or wasting time I could be out finding birds sitting in a restaurant. I go ut birding before daybreak so, lunch as late...

"Nice large property on a beautiful piece of land. Very easy check in and the easiest check out process out there. The house was clean and aired out, no musty smells! Kitchen very well equipped, beds were comfortable and spaces were large and airy. We loved the pool. It was the BEST part of the stay! I'd stay here again hands down."

"Our stay at the Tiskita Jungle Lodge was very dreamlike. Laying in a hammock on the back porch of our lodge which overlooked the ocean while surrounded by the nature of the jungle with monkeys and toucans nearby. The meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner included with our stay) were out of this world delicious! Walks through the jungle towards the fruit farm and waterfall w/swim pools were quite scenic as well. I also highly recommend horseback riding from Tiskita Jungle Lodge to catch the sunset...

The room was clean, bed was comfortable, kitchen was fully equipped, and the bathroom set up was one of the nicest I’ve seen in Costa Rica. "We spent 3 amazing days and nights with JD at his beautiful place. The room is surounded by windows, allowing you to feel like you're sleeping in the jungle, with the monkeys and birds and frogs around you. All in the comfort of probably one of the best beds we've slept in.The breeze is so nice in this property that we never even used the A/C.JD was the most amazing host and we ended up spening a lot of time together, and even had the chance to hear him play his music at a local bar. "The house was perfect for our short stay. Almost centered between 2-great surf spots (Pavones and Pilon) and close enough for a short walk to the beach. All the amenities you need to enjoy during your vacation. I’ll certainly be back!"
