"What a wonderful place and could not have been in a better location in proximity to the beach and town. All gratitude and love for the hosts. There is an ice bath on the premises which was welcomed almost daily after each surf session. Thank you so much. Can’t wait to come back. Pura Vida!"

"Our stay at Pavones Point was perfect! The location is right at the top point of Pavones surf break. Walk right across the road and paddle out…or walk a little down to the right for a bit less intense wave. The condo was clean and spacious…had everything we needed. Clean towels, comfortable beds, coffee maker, toaster, blender. No salt or pepper and no trays if you plan on making bacon or roasting anything. And no full length mirrors but the location makes up for that!"

"This resort provides an authentic "forest" experience while at the same time making sure all one's needs are taken care of. Dining is surprisingly good (my husband is a gourmet chef so he should know) as is the service! We couldn't ask for more but got it thanks to the friendliness of the owners. They are ever present and offer great advice (as well as conversation) for a fulfilling experience. We were sincerely sad to leave and hope to return in the future..."

"There are vacations, and then there are vacations. This place is about as unique as they come. A few things to be aware of. First the drive from the Airport is a 7 hour drive. Be prepared for that. Once you arrive to the climb in the mountains, it can be rough. Be sure to rent the right vehicle for that. It can be a challenge to find it in the dark. Once there, it’s an absolute paradise. "I stayed just one night at Cabinas upon arriving to the Osa peninsula and it was the perfect landing place to being my trip! The staff was so kind and helpful and it was great to be able to get out on the water and Kayak. The location is walking distance to town for cafes, grocery and restaurants. The price is affordable and the room was very clean and cosy! I would definitely stay again if I travel there! "
